I am on the hunt for a stamp-cleaning solution without the mess (which may be impossible!?) and I saw these. Has anyone here used them and/or have an opinion or review on them? I personally do not like the bottle stamp cleaners with the scrubby top because it seems like the ink gets into the bottle of solution and colors it. Then when I go to clean another stamp at another time the solution comes out whatever ink I used last. Does that make sense? Idk. I just want something less messy. I know I've read a lot about the TT stamp scrubber and the spray also but it sounds messy.

I use the Lawn Fawn Shammy and love it. No more baby wipes. On a recent thread others mentioned something called the absorber, that sounds similar to the LF shammy, but cheaper.
ETA: I've never used the product you posted.

Get LF Shammy or the absorber. I have both. The absorber is thicker and much bigger. I cut off a piece of it to use for stamping. All you need is water with either one and it does an amazing job!

Someone had these wipes in a class this weekend and they were not impressed. I haven't tried them, but that was their comments. It didn't seem to remove everything it claimed.

I've tried so many stamp cleaners over the years. I am also a convert to the Absorber. It's economical, no mess, travels well and totally low maintenance. And most importantly, it gets the job done!

I have the shammy and its still in the package (atrb_partsz) I still default to my SU! scrub and spray but you have to rinse it out and let it dry often because the cleaned off ink just sits there and collects on your stamp.
Is the shammy better?

Oh this is all great advice you guys. I had posted about the LF Shammy a while back but I still haven't decided on what to buy. Now that you guys have mentioned the Absorber it jogged my memory that I really wanted to try that!

I have the SU! scrubber, but hardly ever use it anymore. I use "Wet Ones". They are much like baby wipes, come in a can like the one you pictured, and take off next to anything. I also have StazOn cleaner to remove more permanent inks, and sometimes use Ranger alcohol ink blending solution as a cleaner.

I haven't used InkAway. But I have been using the LF shammy for a few months now. It works well. I think I'll order a spare since I frequently misplace this one while stamping. Yes, I'm a messy crafter.

I have a version of the absorber as well and it works really well - any car synthetic shammy type cloth will be fine.

Buy yourself the Absorber. I got mine from Wal-Mart but you can also get them from Amazon at under $12 with free shipping. You can cut a small piece of it to use and save the rest for later. When it gets totally ugly looking from lots of stamping use, you can throw it in the washing machine. Or just get rid of it and cut yourself another piece.
A wet Absorber removes almost all ink without the fibers that baby wipes can leave. Sometimes I go over stamps used with red ink with a spray stamp cleaner.

Piggy backing on this. My biggest issue is that with every stamp cleaner, there are fibers that come off and end up ruining my stamped images. The only solution I've found is soap and water, then letting it try (but if I want to use the same stamp in more than one color, this is not practical) or my DIY stamp scrubber (I use these www.homedepot.com/p/Shur-Line-Paint-Edger-Pad-Refills-2-Pack-200ZS/100076393 foam taped inside of a plastic travel baby wipes container) but because of the nature of the cleaners (I have several kinds) it leaves a greasy feel to the stamp and even the drying side doesn't pull out all of the product so then I feel like I still need to go back to soap and water. Baby wipes, my Dollar Tree knock off shammy, paper towels...literally everything else I've tried leaves stray fibers on my stamps. Does the absorber not do this? If it doesn't, I'm adding one to my next amazon order, stat!

I have the exact wipes in your original post. I feel like they are essentially very expensive baby wipes though of course I would not use the stamp ones on an actual baby, despite being blonde. I really didn't notice these or baby wipes leaving fibers but I am not a hard core stamper. Or maybe I am just a sloppy stamper and done care. Who knows...

I use a knock off of the Absorber. If I remember correctly it was one shelf down at Wal-Mart, pretty much the same size, and only $5. I LOVE it. The material is a car chamois, not microfiber. No fuzzies or lint.
What I like is that I can clean off my non-stick mat after using Distress Inks, then use it on something else and the ink doesn't transfer. If gets ugly and stained, but nothing comes off on the mat, stamps, or blocks.

Oooh . . . now that I can handle! Will have to put that on my list! 27x17 or something one in lime green is 7.50 as an addon on amazon. The rest are $10 and up. I need to buy a few bulbs and a new fridge drawer (thanks to my kids using it as a ladder to reach the top shelf...painful $50 lesson) so I plan to order it with all of that.

I've been stamping for around 30 years, and honestly the best, cheapest thing I've found for most stamp cleaning is an old terry cloth washcloth wet down with plain water on a throw away plate. Seriously.
I have no problem with lint, all water based inks (even pigment) washes right off, when it gets grungy I throw it in the wash and pull out another clean one. It's soft so it doesn't flick dirty water/cleaner onto my project like that rubber scrubber thing did, but the tiny terry cloth fingers get up and into all the little cracks and crevices on the stamps. It's safe for rubber and polymer stamps. When one side gets grungy I just flip it over. Doesn't cost me anything because I already have a pile of them that I kept around for cleaning stuff. It's even portable because I can bring a dry one if I want to go somewhere, put water on it there and when I'm done throw the plate and everything in a gallon sized ziplock bag to bring it home.
The only thing it won't work with is Stazon, but to be honest I don't really use that stuff because I don't like how it stains my stamps. I stole a pile of those microwave dinner plates from my mom's house back in the day and they're perfect to put my cleaning rag on because the bottom of the plate is flat.

I've actually used up one tub/container/whatever-it's-called-in-English of InkAway cleaning wipes and can give you my personal thorough honest opinion on it:
1. It's not a great solution for not getting messy with stamp cleaning because you're essentially getting ink transfer from the wipe onto your hands if you're trying to be a little economic with it and getting the most use out of a wipe. That means ink under your nails and all over your finger tips which is annoying. (also slightly clingy fingers if you've used the wipes several times without washing your hands in between during a single scrap session, ugh)
2. Actually, you won't get much use out of a wipe! These dry up very quickly. If you're quick enough, you can clean a small stamp and open up the tub, put the wipe back in there (or in a separate properly closed tub) and reuse it for one more stamp. Nothing more than that in my experience!
3. It's a decent stamp cleaner but nothing miraculous. Again, I used these with mostly still wet stamps and don't let my used stamps dry up before cleaning them so can't tell you how good they are if you want to use these on stamps with ink that has already dried them on down.
4. It ain't getting StazOn out. At all.
5. The plastic tub isn't sturdy.
6. The wipes are small and thin. I've actually torn quite a few of these while using them.
7. If you're a regular nail polish wearer like I am, you're going to hate these so much! I've had to redo my manicure every single time I used these wipes because the product actually bit through the upper part of my topcoat and effectively stained the topcoat (and took away the shine + smoothness of it) with the ink colour I was removing from the stamp. If I did some heavier stamping, I actually would end the scrapping session with stained nails because the product had just worked its way through topcoat + nail polish + basecoat on at the very least the tips of my nails. Which worried me about it not being gentle on my stamps, meaning I ended up rewashing all my stamps in the sink anyway. Double the work! (well, triple if you factor in a new mani)
I now use a system with several bowls set on a tray next to me to clean my stamps as I use them. A simple non-fuzzy cloth, some mild cleaning up product and a final clear water bowl to get rid of any soapy residues. And StazOn cleaner for those difficult inks. I'm not getting those InkAway wipes again. So not worth the price, messy fingers/nails.
