Hello Experts,
I have been googling, researching and testing for days and I haven't stumbled on a solution yet ... If anyone knows, the Peas do.
I am looking for a web based, mobile friendly (maybe even with an app) software that can help me manage communications for a local club my kids belong to. It's rather large club with about 75 kid members plus their parents. The kids are actually the members, but we communicate with the parents so we'd like to have a "family login".
Features needed are: calendar, events, photos, documents, reports, discussions, committees, projects, etc. I even found one with a classified section!
Cozi has a family log in but it's more family organization and not club management.
I've looked into Big Tent and it's free and is really close to what we need, but doesn't have a family log in.
We don't mind spending some money for a subscription, but we want it to fit our needs.
So, any Peas with experience on this?
Thanks in advance!!

I like HOA Total Access but it would cost you $25/month for 100 users. You will also have to pay annually for using your own domain and SSL which would be additional. Is there a parent who can volunteer to setup a blog with the items you need? Doing Typepad or Wordpress might be more cost effective.

You could do the blog or closed FB page while you investigate other systems. That's what we did while we researched. But it's been several years and I'm no longer volunteering in that capacity. I scrolled through some of our groups and they either have custom designed programs because a parent has skills, or a more extensive package.

Thanks for the replies so far!!
I would be the admin, but I am looking for a portal/login type system, where users can maintain their own information and our leaders can update the calendars. We have project leaders that could also maintain their little committee area with calendar stuff too.
We have a facebook page, but some families don't have or want facebook. So we can't use that ...
We don't mind paying a monthly fee if we can find the right thing ...

Not sure if it'll work for your needs, but you might look into something that's designed for sports teams. I know a lot of soccer teams that use Team Snap for communication, calendars, etc.

We use Shutterfly group pages for Girl Scout things. It's not ideal, but worth checking out. Has most of your requirements (and may have all of them, depending on what you mean by "projects").

There are different projects or "subjects" you can participate in. Like kids/parents in the "Cooking" project will have discussions/dates that don't apply to the people in knitting.
edited to add: In addition, you can sign up for club committees. Like "Fundraising" or "Community Service"

Would Membership Toolkit work? It has the ability to post notices for different categories or groups, take payments, etc. I haven't noticed a message board, interactive feature for discussions but that doesn't mean it's not there. The founder is local, they've been very receptive to feedback as it was being developed. If you need something they don't offer they might be interested in adding it.

I sent them an email with a few questions.

Thx for the dhutterfly suggestions. Is it the "share" area? Yes, it's the Shutterfly Share sites. The nice thing is there is also an iphone app. Not sure if it's robust enough for your needs, but I'm not an admin on the site, just a member. Save
