This also could go under the "stories about how you have too much" and "I do not need paper" also the "items you resisted buying and now you regret" threads but here goes. Since my lss closed a few years ago I do most of my scrapbook shopping online and mainly at one online store. This store has records of my orders going back years. Now when I am *ahem* too lazy to dig through my stash or when I forget if I have bought something, or even when I am away from home (hey that's a practical reason) I can go on their website and look through my past orders to see what I have bought. Today I did that and saw that 3 years ago (LOL) I bought the Simple Stories Summer Fresh line and it is perfect for some pictures I am working on right now. Also made me regret I only ordered 1 sheet of some of the papers since both sides are so cute.

That is brilliant!! Who needs paper organization when you have a back up system like that!

Ha ha ha! Knowing I have it is no help if I don't know which bin it's in to find it when I want it! Half the time I know I bought something, I just don't know what I did with it once I got home.

I feel your pain, I put all my paper in Iris cases but (shhhh... don't tell my husband) I have so many Iris cases. So I know how it is to have to hunt for something. Since they started selling different colors that does help a little bit (that is if you can remember what you put in what color case )

I've done that before on the Joanns website. If I cant remember if I have something already. Usually it's a tool of some sort.

When my niece was a CTMH consultant, I would sometimes order something and she would say "you already have that" lol

This is me. I spend more time LOOKING for something I am SURE I own, than I do actually finishing the page or card with an alternate (because of COURSE I can't find the perfect item). Then of course once the project is completed, the paper or sticker sheet or whatever I was searching for will magically appear, to be put lovingly away in a special place for the NEXT time I need it... And then the cycle begins again, ha ha!

I never worry if I buy paper twice. If I liked it once, I'll use it again.

And I do double layouts, so I go through a lot of paper.
