I see mine! It's fun seeing pictures and trying to find my card, it's like Where's Waldo! I know, right?! That's what I was thinking when I decided not to list each pea by name. I thought it might be fun to see if each pea could find their own?! Merry Christmas! I agree, I love looking every one's display and looking for mine. And recognizing ones that I've received and knowing who they are from. And yes, it makes us smile each time we leave the house Thank you for the extra special holiday cheer this year everyone

I keep meaning to personally send messages to each and every one of you for the beautiful/fun cards... but of course, with this busy season, a group thank-you will have to do. Thank you!!! It is soooo much fun to have so many cards in the mail every day!

I also love looking for my card. I enjoyed making them and trying new designs. I'm too ADD to do the exact same card for everyone. Please know that handmade or store bought they are so very appreciated. I have a plan to display mine this week and will get a photo once they're up.

My sister in law knew that I had made a boat load of cards for a swap. She asked me if I had gotten any back and she wanted to see them.
She looked at each and everyone! She kept asking me what all the reference to peas and peaing was all about. I told her it was too hard to explain! I don't want her showing up here and harshing my mellow!! It actually is pretty hard to explain what our little community is all about!

Thanks so much everyone for the beautiful cards! I loved receiving every single card. It's especially exciting to come home from a long day at work to open cards. I'm sad that it'll be ending soon. I got six more today and was so excited, so glad I decided to participate this year.
I'm planning on keeping every card along with the envelopes. I love seeing how far each card has come from.

Hopping on here again to say - thank you to everyone who sent me a card - 3 more arrived today. I took a photo of my lounge room and was showing a couple of people I work with my newly redecorated lounge - and they mentioned all the Christmas Cards that were hanging up on the wall. Lots of lovely comments. And for the record, I have only received 4 from family/friends here in NZ, and 2 e-cards on the computer - all the rest are from the peas

The cards have been wonderful--I didn't send as many as I had originally planned as we have had some unexpected health issues with my 90 year old father--but please know that in a time of some sadness and stress that he is not doing as well as he had been has been that your cards have been such a source of joy and comfort to me. I truly hope we do this again and I am going to start early in the year to make my cards as I had planned this year. I wish for you all a wonderful holiday season with family and friends-hug them really tight this year.

I just can't get over how many beautiful cards I received. This was my first year participating in the swap. When I went to the mailbox yesterday, I was thinking that my postman must think I am super popular and is wondering why I get so many cards

Christmas night, and we have had a wonderful time. One of the highlights has been your Christmas cards. The whole family has enjoyed them, especially our 11 year old granddaughter! I hope you've had the best of holidays. I can sympathize with those of you dealing with family that is ill during this time--my parents died on the 19th and 20th of December (8 years apart). I hope 2017 will be a good year for all of you.

Thank you to all the Peas who sent me a card this year. It was my first time doing the card swap and I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. Normally I'm not that fussed about receiving cards, and I don't ever send any. It made me laugh when DSO would bring the mail in and call out "AussieMeg, there are some more cards here for you!" (And yes, he would actually say AussieMeg!) Initially I had them set up on the TV cabinet, but between the dog jumping up to grab them and the air conditioning blowing them over, I decided to put the on the wall. A few were from family/friends and a few were from DS's classmates, the rest were from the Peas.

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and to those celebrating Hanukkah are having a great holiday!
I just wanted to update my "door." I posted a pic of it several weeks ago (it's at the top of page 13) and here it is today! It's staying up for a while yet!
I'm wondering if next year, if we could put an asterisk next to the Jewish pea's names (if they'd like) so that we could (if we wanted to) send Hanukkah cards to them? Personally, I'd love the opportunity to do so. Just food for thought.
HAPPY NEW YEAR to you all, and thank you again to @leowife for organizing this year!

I loved all of the cards, it made my holidays full of Joy. Opening the mailbox each day put a smile on my face... We have had several parties and people oohed and awed over the cards. The guys all voted that the Star Wars one were the best...The ladies kept saying look at this one, no this one and we just all agreed we couldn't decide. For those that took the time to buy, make, mail, write, color, craft, drive to the post office, drop them in a box & to the many, many personal messages......THANK YOU. I can't wait untill next year....Start saving 25 cents a week and you will be covered and then some. I purpose get a piggy bank and start dumping your spare change....this way it's no stress;)
The card swap will return...sign-ups will be in October, someone put it in their calendar to send me a reminder...look forward to an amazing 2017 on the Pea Boards. Have a very Happy New Year!!!

Thank you for all the wonderful cards, it have been so much fun to see the different cards, handmade and bought because it is different from the style around here. I plan to save them all with my christmas scrap-stuff and next year use them for inspiration and as base from the "to-and-from-card" as I have read others doing, that way you got to enjoy them one year more
