Thanks to everyone for all the beautiful cards!!! It makes the holiday season a little brighter to find such pretty cards in the mail everyday. I think there was only 1 day since Thanksgiving that I didn't receive any cards...and most days were more than one. Now back to an empty mailbox.

Some of mine went out late so you might still get one lol! I ran out of handmade ones and thought I would get enough time to make more but I didn't and then had to wait to get to the city to buy cards because I live in a town where I can't get stuff like that ugh.

I loved all of the cards, it made my holidays full of Joy. Opening the mailbox each day put a smile on my face... We have had several parties and people oohed and awed over the cards. The guys all voted that the Star Wars one were the best...The ladies kept saying look at this one, no this one and we just all agreed we couldn't decide. For those that took the time to buy, make, mail, write, color, craft, drive to the post office, drop them in a box & to the many, many personal messages......THANK YOU. I can't wait untill next year....Start saving 25 cents a week and you will be covered and then some. I purpose get a piggy bank and start dumping your spare change....this way it's no stress;) The card swap will return...sign-ups will be in October, someone put it in their calendar to send me a reminder...look forward to an amazing 2017 on the Pea Boards. Have a very Happy New Year!!! Thank you for organizing the swap, I had a great time. And I think I will get a coin jar for my scraproom so I know it will be my card money for next year. I'm already looking forward to next year and want to start on those cards sometime soon Thank you everyone for putting a smile on the faces of my household as we opened each card and hung them up. First on our door, then on the wall surrounding the door, then over by the clock

Thanks to everyone for all the beautiful cards. Thanks to leowife for organizing this swap and for taking it on again in 2017. I love this swap, it's like a little present for me every time I open my mail box in December!

I got yours this morning!!! I don't mind receiving the late ones at all...it extends the holiday season. We've still got a family Christmas that we usually do late, this year it falls on New Years Day, so I typically don't feel like "Christmas" is over until we've had that get together. So that means everyone has until Sunday lol!!!

I bought cards today. For NEXT year. I usually make mine but I was out and found some cards that I really liked and was surprised that they were still there because of the theme/genre. But they were on lower shelf hidden behind a large amount of typical religious based cards. Come to think of it, I bet someone hid them to come get later... sorry, they are all mine now! For next year! If I don't forget them. So how's that for getting ahead of the game? And FYI for next year, let me be the first to say, "I'm sorry and hope you all don't mind that my cards will not be homemade. Is that ok?" Maybe I should start preparing them...NOT!

I was out shopping last night and picked up a couple rolls of curly ribbon and other stuff on clearance (gotta love that!) - anyway the Walmart I was at had tons of boxed cards left...all at 50% off. I have tons of supplies and actually enjoy making my cards lol, but I sure was tempted...for "just in case"

There was a lot at my WalMart, too. I'm sure these particular would have been gone if they weren't hidden. Maybe I'll doctor them up somehow... I enjoy making cards, too. As long as I don't wait until last minute to make a ton.

I got another NINE cards on Friday!! That was a lovely surprise because I thought for sure no more were coming. I've taken a new photo of the display. I have run out of little craft pegs so I had to go steal some red pegs off the clothesline.

Some friends of ours dropped over the other day, and my friend said "Oh wow, look at all those cards, why are you so popular?" My DD pointed out to her that they are from people who are not my real friends, they are from on-line friends. My friend looked at me in horror and said "You gave people on the internet your address?!?!" I told her that I've know you all for 16 years now. (OK that was a lie, I've been on 2 Peas for about that long but some people here I've never interacted with, but oh well!)

That's a totally awesome display, AussieMeg!
The exchange this year came at a time when I really needed it. The quality and quantity of cards I received were, well, awesome!
I thank each and everyone of you ( especially our wonderful organizer ) and look forward to the coming year's exchange. Who knows, I may actually even get some handmade ones sent out this year.

I've already started planning - well, thinking about - my handmade cards for next year. I sent bought ones this year (or should I say last year!). And I've already started buying stamps so I don't have to fork out a ton of cash at the end of the year. I want to try and send to everyone on the list next Christmas.

Thank you everyone for all of the beautiful cards! It was the hit of the holiday season and so much fun to get such beautiful cards in the mail every day. Now that it's over checking the mail everyday is boring again I treasure every one and save them all every year by tying up the batch with a ribbon and a note on top as to the year with a note that says RefuPeas Card Exchange. I think this is the 3rd or 4th year I've participated. I have to go and count the batches. Next year I'm planning to hand make my cards. I'm already looking at stamp images. Thank you Leowife for all of your work organizing this card exchange. I really appreciate it.

I have all my cards from the past two year's swaps now safely stored in a beautiful Christmas box. I'm thinking of decorating one of my Christmas trees with them next year. My guys and I really enjoy this new tradition in our home. Thank you all so very much for sharing and spreading so much cheer this holiday season.
I haven't said anything until now but I had gotten very sick after Thanksgiving. Had to have a couple of minor surgeries that really threw a wrench in all our festivities. I did my cards while recovering in bed and it greatly cheered me up. Then when the cards started coming in? Wow, it was a really special treat each and every day. So from the bottom of my heart, thank you all so very much. It means more to me than words can convey!
