My stamps!! I have so many and I just don't use them anymore. I should really sort them and sell them on so that they can be loved and used by someone else. I keep thinking what if?! Lol!!

I also tossed my magazines and haven't missed them. I took the time to go through them and tear out pages that I wanted to keep. After a year of never looking at them I tossed those too.
I need to purge paper. I have some ancient MME and it's thin, probably Recollections brand, and it doesn't appeal to me at all anymore. I just need to get out a bin of paper that doesn't get used and get rid of it so I can free up that space. If I know I won't use it why keep it? So it's not at all that I'm attached to it and I'm having a hard time letting it go. I just need to take the time and do it.

I need to purge paper. I have boxes and boxes of paper that I don't really like - lots of stripes and dots and plaids. I keep them for those days in the future when I will be happy to have any paper I can get my hands on.

Bare chip boards shapes and letters
I need ideas on how to do anything with them that would make me use them. I have them in a big box. If anyone has ideas, I would love to see - so I can use these or just decide to dump them.
Honestly, I think this is also why I don't use diecuts you cut yourself either very often. Having a shape cut out of plain cardstock, etc. just doesn't do anything for me. How do you all make them interesting to use on a layout?

For any of us that have been scrapbooking for awhile there is bound to be plenty of stuff we have a stash of, and have used little! But it is nice to have the perfect little embellishment to finish a layout or card! Since I have NO LSS and only big box stores, it is nice to re-purpose old supplies into new designs.

It never looked good when I tried to work with it. It just took up space. I have never regretted it! As for diecuts, this is where those 6x6 paper pads come in handy. The smaller scale prints work better with die cutting. I cut multiple images with different, but coordinating, papers. Then, mix and match your layers. Ink the edges, too, for contrast. I use coordinating inks, green edges on green prints, etc. I add enamel dots on wheels, maybe a little Stickles as an accent, whatever I can think of to dress them up. Think in layers.

Thank you for the suggestions! I think I just need to play more with my Cricut. And I think you are right about the bare chipboard. I should dump most of them. The only thing I can think of to do with them is use heat embossing powder on them and probably only the basic shapes will look okay even with that.

mich0222 Another Pea recommended doing a second coat of embossing powder to get a smoother finish. I would definitely give that a try.

I can't purge my cardstock. I need to, but I can't. I am holding onto it until I can't deal any longer. Then it can go.
I didn't think my beloved K& Company embellishments would ever go and yet they are in a Rubbermaid container as I type this. Not all of them of course, but the ones I won't use. I just can't keep them. There is no more room.
