**update, so they say no infection just localized swelling. It's at the site where the tools went in, and where they "removed the end of the clavicle to shave the bone" (made me shudder hearing them say it!) Just need to continue to ice and take ibuprofen. if doesn't go away I go back Tuesday. Thanks to those that showed concern, appreciate that! And I'm heading back to dr for this. Kinda freaking me out. Any ideas?

I have no idea, but completely agree you need to go back to the doctor. Hope it is nothing serious!

That does not even look like fun. Hope it's something easily taken care of. Good luck.

I have no idea, but my first thought is an infection or inflammation. Hope all is well and that this is just a nuisance and nothing more.

And I'm heading back to dr for this. Kinda freaking me out. Any ideas? What kind of shoulder surgery did you have? If you've already said I think I missed it. Just asking because my DH is going the 6th of Oct. for rotator cuff surgery and don't know what to expect. Good thing you are being seen. Looks like it might be infected. Save

SaveThis is my 3rd surgery and never had this before. I had a small rotator cuff tear again, but it was mostly removing bone spurs and bursitis (fraying) I don't know why but it's got me all worked up! I was just seen Tuesday. I'm in the waiting Room as I type this so can update soon. Good luck to your husband

Oh, that looks uncomfortable!
Maybe they needed to move the instruments around more this time than before?
Speedy healing to you and I hope the swelling goes down soon.

I hope you soon are mended. And that the ibuprofen will be effecting in reducing the swelling and your discomfort.
