I'm SO excited - it might be another year-18m but it's been confirmed we're getting a Hobby Lobby! We rarely make it out of town except on a Sunday so it's not often I get to shop at HL.
Even better - DH likes HL so he won't mind stopping in (he also likes Michaels and Joanns - we have a fairly new Michaels here as well but no Joanns)

I'm happy for you! I miss living near a HL and wish they'd open a store near where I live now.

Everywhere is at least 45 minutes from here. I live in the middle of nowhere. But it's country traffic not Chicago traffic. So it's actually travel time, not it's 10 miles away but 45 minutes because of congestion, construction, and ..... Plus great views during your drive.

Jealous! We were slated to get one 2 years ago, but nothing ever happened. It was announced locally, on their website, then nothing. They built several other ones 2 hours on either side of our city, but nothing here. I keep hoping!

I'm lucky to live in the suburbs of a big city. I have access to hobby lobby fairly close. 3 Micheal's,2 joanns and 4 Tuesday morning. Archives was in a mall that was about 5 miles from my house. All these stores pretty close to where I live.

Congratulations! But I must admit, I'm envious. Our HL is at least 45 min. away, so I don't get there very often. Enjoy!

I wish we had one. The closes to me is about 45 min. away. The only store we have is a small Joann's.

They finally opened one near me several years ago. It's a half hour drive but worth it. So much cool stuff. I only go on a Saturday since I work and SoCal rush hour traffic would triple the travel time.
