The judges are driving me crazy. I just don't get them this year. OP - maybe put SPOILER in your title so we can discuss everything.

Ugh. No spoiler button when you post on the phone! I'd like to know who a certain designer is related to or sleeping with because I have thought all three designs have been hideous! I usually can at least get what the judges like in an outfit even if I don't like it, but gah. Horrid.

I'm watching right now and I can't believe the outfit Heidi just said was her favorite. It's so ugly.

I only like one of the three top looks (blue-haired woman's). And how do things that look like gilded dryer hoses make an attractive dress? That outfit looks like a costume for low budget science fiction flick, not a real dress.

no-No-NO Judges - what are you all smoking this season.
Paige you nailed it - Low budget SciFi flick.

I just saw the winner. Freaking kidding me. I will watch next week, but that may be it.
Good call on who went home, though. I thought they'd stay around for the drama.

Damn! Is the fix in? What do the judges see in Sandhya?

SPOILER
Angela never would have made the entire season. She just did not have the confidence to deal with the pressure of a competition like this.

Yes, it looks like sci fi, but did you guys hear what the challenge was for? the FUTURE, 20 yrs from now. So, yea, I can see that dress winning, and wearable then. I totally agreed with who went home too!

Usually, if a designer offers something that I would never, ever wear, I can count on that being the judges top pick. But this season I'm totally clueless.

OP,
It is really unhelpful to just have the title be the title of the show.
There have been posts about this season of Project Runway.
We usually do the titles as Project Runway 8/7 SPOILERS

I've predicted the last three winning dresses. By picking the dresses I hate the most!! It always wins.

I will admit, I didn't hate the winning dress this week. Not my favorite, but didn't hate it.
I agree, Angela would've cracked under the pressure.
So far, Sandyah (sp?) won & then skated by w/immunity. Amanda, same. Wonder what will happen to Sandyah next week.

Gah! I really like Sandhya as a person and like her philosophy, but her designs are ugly. I really liked Emily's. The right one went home, however the bottom 3 were all a hot mess. And Zac needs to go. He brings nothing. Bring Back Kors!!!!!! BBK!!!!!!

Watching Angela cringe under the pressure of the criticism of the judges was painful. Just her slumped over posture was so sad. She said "she had never been criticized like that before". Interesting. Was time for her to go.
As for the winner. Geeeeeeeezzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. That dress was so ugly!! I fail to see what was futuristic about it.

Did you see what she did when Tim tried to hug her good bye? Awkward! Yes! I thought to myself, who wouldn't want to hug Tim? Plus, I thought what he said to her was both nice and probably accurate. She has talent, but PR was really not the right atmosphere for her. I personally was glad she went home. It made me nervous just to watch her be nervous!! I have really liked Sandhya all along, because in the previiew show the designs she auditioned were great and her design philosophy was interesting. I still like her, but I admit that I did not really see the appeal of the pink dress with tubes. It looked futuristic, but not in a high fashion or wearable way, IMO. I thought the girl with the fuzzy hair (white dress, army green jacket) should probably have won. And I liked that wetsuit that the Florida guy made. I was glad Alexander got to stay, because even though the judges didn't like what he made, he was right about the other outfit. However, it seems like the designers almost always go wrong when they abandon a look at the last minute (for whatever reason) and start completely over. They need to take Tim's motto of "make it work" to heart.

That winning dress was HORRID. My 15yo loved the green coat which wasn't bad but not my fave either. The girl who went home just has some MAJOR issues. My dd kept saying, MAN when is she going to start eating her hair or something she should NOT be on this show.
I didn't mind Amandas outfit and not sure why they thought it was SO bad. The 3 bottom were the worst of them all for me.

I am clueless as to what they see if Sandyja. I think I just butchered her name, as badly as she butchered that dress last night.
I will say though, that I thought the whole challenge a little weird. I was not overly thrilled with anything for the future. I will say Char rocked it again, and so did the girl who made the green jacket.
And can I say that hat was a total flop...in more ways than one!!! I was so surprised he sent that. I just didn't see that coming! He has sent very streamlined items down. Just not what I expected from him!

I loved the jumpsuit with the jacket that flipped off. I don't know what the judges see in this Sandyja girl. I haven't liked anything she has done this year! Not happy with the judging AT ALL!

This was for the cover of Marie Claire in 20 years time, given that brief I can absolutely see why that dress won. It would make a great cover, the pink and then the shiny metal going over her shoulders would totally photograph well and look stunning. This challenge wasn't about what the average woman will be wearing. I personally liked the black jumpsuit but imagine that dark gray hoodie over the black on the cover...I wouldn't be rushing to buy that magazine, as one of the judges said, it would look like the grim reaper was staring out at you from the cover. Looking down the line I knew it was either going to be her or the green coat. I really like Sandhya though, she's very humble and grounded. She's always takes the praise so well without getting big headed.
I agree that Angela was a poor choice, I remember the first show when she couldn't even wheel her sample rack in, she definitely did not have the right personality to be on this show and I think it was a bit cruel to put someone with such a timid personality on.

I think Sandyja is the only one so far who is putting anything out there that comes close to being high fashion.
I would never wear that dress Sandyja put out there last night, but I'd stop and look twice at it if it was on the pages of Marie Claire. As Nina would say it was very editorial.
I'm hoping Sandyja is going to force the other designers to step out of their comfort boxes and take more risks.
