Dove Unscented and Coast. LOL Coast is a throwback to the '70's! I love the squeaky clean feeling it gives me!

I am surprised to see so many Dove lovers! I can't stand how dry my skin feels after I use Dove. I don't use bar soap at all for my face, but I use Irish Spring for the body. Although I just bought a Dr. Bronner's Lavender bar soap tonight and I cannot wait to use it tomorrow morning!

I haven't bought a bar of soap in years. Not saying that I don't wash! I only buy liquid hand soap and liquid body wash.
Didn't know so many people still use the bar variety. I may have to try some just for fun.

Good old Irish Spring. Not only does it lather well, rinse well, and smell fresh and clean, but we keep extra bars in the linen cabinets and all my sheets and towels smell incredible! this we've used irish spring our entire marriage - it actually reminds of how my husband smelled when i first met him the green one - not the aloe/blue gina

Perfectly Posh has a bar soap called "Peace, Love, Take a Shower" that is damn near a religious experience in the shower. I love it. I like Caress and Dove in the regular kind too. i just contacted a posh rep in my town headed to pick up a bar of this - this afternoon i feel like such a lemming gina

I only use Perfectly Posh for all of my skincare. I love all of their chunks that I've tried but Gender Bender is the absolute best for clearing up my skin and the absolute cleanest feeling ever. FYI: Gender Bender is a black bar because it contains charcoal, so use dark washcloths with it. It WILL stain white ones, and bleach won't take it out for me. Even considering that...I'm not allowed to run out of GB in this house! My husband has me order it 6 bars at a time (buy 5/get 1free) so we always have it on hand.

Am I the only one that loves Yardley English Lavender bar soap? I don't use it all the time because I mainly use BBW Japanese Cherry Blossom body wash, but sometimes I have to have a bar of Yardley's English Lavender for old times sake. It has been a favorite of mine since the 70's.

Trader Joe's Lemon Verbena. It smells so good, suds up nicely and doesn't feel slimy once it's been rinsed off.

we use the Ivory aloe bar. (I almost wrote Ovary, lol!) I can't find the Ivory aloe scent very often, so I just found a Dial cucumber / coconut?? (or maybe it was aloe / coconut?? either way, the coconut scent wasn't all that overwhelming.) For my face in the shower, I use Dove. We also use Ivory Aloe. It's the only bar that my DH and I both like. I love the light, fresh scent. Cheap. No residue.

Aleppo soap straight from Syria. The importer we buy from has had many issues with getting a steady and regular flow of the product due to the war situation but we stock up when they have some in and are happy to do our little something to help this over a thousand years old tradition remain alive despite the terrible situation the region is in.
Aleppo soap is literally just three ingredients: olive oil, laurel oil and sodium hydroxide. Non-aggressive for the skin, clean for the environment and that typical scent of olive and laurel oils... Which is very different from scented soaps, granted, but it's my go-to.

Why can't you find just a plain bar of good smelling glycerin soap anymore? I miss the glycerin soap that Bath and Body Works used to carry. They had it in so many scents too.
