I'm in the mood for something new. I'm up for anything, drugstore, Etsy, handmade, whatever. I just want something that smells really good, lathers up nicely, and makes me feel clean.

I just use the Dove sensitive skin, but what I really wanted to comment on is your new profile picture...very pretty! I do too. Or the Publix brand version. And, because I am old school (or lazy, take your pick) I use it to wash my face as well.

Good old Irish Spring. Not only does it lather well, rinse well, and smell fresh and clean, but we keep extra bars in the linen cabinets and all my sheets and towels smell incredible!

we use the Ivory aloe bar. (I almost wrote Ovary, lol!) I can't find the Ivory aloe scent very often, so I just found a Dial cucumber / coconut?? (or maybe it was aloe / coconut?? either way, the coconut scent wasn't all that overwhelming.) For my face in the shower, I use Dove.

I adore big bars of posh Italian soaps that I get from TK Maxx (I noticed some in TJ Maxx in Orlando a couple of weeks ago too). They are more expensive than those sold in supermarkets, but they last a long time, lather beautifully, and smell heavenly. My favourites are grapefruit, almond, and coconut.

We have been buying goat soap! It's very good, and lasts a long time. I've bought from these guys at a craft fair. www.goatmilksoapshop.com/

We've used Tone for years. It's not 'Designer' soap, but has a pleasant scent and comes in a cream colored form that pleases me.

The pink Dove or the yellow/gold Dial. I love the smell of both.

Dove and Dial...I haven't thought of those in years. I'll do some sniffing at the grocery store tomorrow.

Stupid pregnancy nose has made me hate most soaps. I was a big fan of Dove before. I have switched to Lever 2000 because to me, it smells the cleanest and freshest without any underlying floral or cologny smells.

Caprina by Canus Fresh Goat's Milk Soap. Package says it's made in Canada, so I don't know if it's available in the U.S. It's gorgeous soap. Fresh smelling, moisturizing and lathers beautifully.

I make my own soap and that's all we use. I like to make goat milk soap and regular plain soap.

I had bad skin until about 36. I can only use Dove to wash my face and Clinique moisturizer. Anything else (including any brand foundation/concealer) and I breakout.

We're another family that only uses Dove. It was recommended to us by our son's pediatrician when he was just 1 year old and had a mild case of eczema. We started using it then and 20 years later still love it. I always bring my own soap when I travel because I hate not using Dove.

I have switched to Lever 2000 because to me, it smells the cleanest and freshest without any underlying floral or cologny smells. Last time I was knocked up was over 18 years ago and to this day I can't hang out in the soap aisle without getting a bit queasy. To this day, I still can't do soaps that smell in any way. I can handle Dove sensitive because there is no scent, and Oil of Olay has a sensitive skin one that doesn't smell either. Silly things that happen when you have all those weird hormones floating around.
