I have had slowly increasing liver numbers over the past 6 years, but they were nothing to worry about. I had a routine blood test 3 weeks ago, and, over the last 5 months, the numbers jumped 20 points. I tried altering a couple of things, then retesting, last week. The numbers increased just a few more points. So, I will be having an ultrasound on Thursday morning. I'm a little nervous, and could use some prayers. I don't want this hanging over my head on my vacation. Thanks, all!

I had to go in for an ultrasound for the same thing several years ago. They decided that the numbers were up because I'm overweight, so while that still isn't a good thing, it was good that they were able to give me a nice simple explanation after the test. Positive thoughts. Remember that you're fortunate that they're willing to look into it for you. Hopefully you'll walk away with better knowledge about what's going on with your body and the ability to do what you need to in order to correct any problems. Tests are good. You're always better off knowing what's up. Still praying for you, but try not to sweat it. You'll make yourself nuts!

Sending good vibes your way... Your liver numbers could be up for several reasons including weight. If that's the case, then the good news is that's it's reversible. Try to stay calm and not over-stress before the results are in because there's a good chance it's something you can work on to help change. Healthy positive thoughts for you!

Thank you, both!
I don't think this is weight related. I have lost 40 lbs over the past 4 years, and have been working out 7-10 hours a week since January, and doing 21 Day Fix for the past 12 weeks. I only have about 15 lbs to go.
If anything, that I am personally aware of, it could be cholesterol meds, and natural supplements that I was taking to lower it. I have not been taking any of those for the past 5 months. I guess it's possible that they could have contributed to it, but I think it's weird that the numbers jumped AFTER I stopped taking them.

It's hard not to worry I know, but try not to borrow trouble as they say. I hope that whatever is causing the elevated numbers is easily diagnosed and fixed!
