What a dunderhead move to make it go live. But we all know both sides have already written the post debate spin.

LOL When these things happen, I tell DH, "uh, oh, someone's in trouble". These things are widely pre-written, I gather...like celebrity obituaries. Some newspapers have a file of pre-written celebrity obits. Someone clicked "post" prematurely.

Is it really that weird? I mean they declared Trump the winner after the presidential debate. :-)
Plus now that I know who wins I don't have to watch,I can go to bed early and actually get some sleep. Hhmmm maybe I can get the GOP to pick some lottery numbers for me since they feel able to predict the future.lol

Geez, Elaine, you got my DH all excited, thinking I wouldn't watch the debate since we all ready know the winner. Poor guy, had to let him know I was still watching.

You think this is bad - our regional science fair went live with a test page of the results - and used the previous year's winners. It was absolutely epic around here. You haven't seen pea livid, until you've seen parents who though their kid won and didn't.

OH my freaking Gosh! It really can't get any weirder, can it? link to storySimply Amazing! Like when Senator Orin Hatch "met" Merrick Garland and decided not to support President Obama's nomination. Problem was, the story came out before he had actually met him. So weird because he had nothing but praise for him at one time.

Unfortunate that they didn't delete that email. Oh, they did delete the webpage and replaced it with a picture of Hillary and saying : Oops, this page is broken, just like Hillary Clinton. It was a very classy way to cover their mistake.

If Hillary is broken, Trump is roadkill that has been driven over so much that one can't even determine what type of animal it was before it was flattened. But I don't think that the DNC will put that up to deflect from one of their blunders.

Well, I mean, it's not like ever were going to say Kaine won, any more than the Democratic party would say Pence won. They obviously screwed up in scheduling their release, but what they did is pretty standard practice. Just like pre-writing obits for famous people.

They screw up and do something so stupid and so deliberately shady and somehow turn this around about Hillary being broken. And people just nod their heads and are okay with that. I feel like I've landed in an episode of The Twilight Zone.

Let's face it: Hillary Supporters will never acknowledge that she's a crook, no matter what evidence is put out there (including the kickbacks from the Clinton Foundation that was just reporter or the fact that despite her ripping into Donald Trump for using the tax laws to his advantage, she's done the same thing and has claimed a "loss" on her returns despite earning millions).
And, Trump supporters don't care about the things that Liberals love to throw out there about why Trump is the Devil.
I really doubt any of this stuff will sway the undecided either.
Posts like this just give one side or the other the opportunity to vent about how awful the other side is.

Wait a minute...I remember something exactly like this during the primaries... Snopes: "Clinton Campaign 'Secret Win' Controversy"This with Pence is all a big fat lot of nuthin'. Bears repeating: LOL When these things happen, I tell DH, "uh, oh, someone's in trouble". These things are widely pre-written, I gather...like celebrity obituaries. Seriously, this. ^^^^^ ~Lauren~ , I didn't say anything negative in my OP. In fact, I didn't say anything negative at all until a Trump supporter jumped in with a slam against Hillary. Of course the recap is mostly pre-written, although I always assumed that a little "live" information would be added to pad it out before going live in order to add a modicum of credibility to it. I just thought it was weird that they "accidentally" published it pre-debate. Even you have to admit that this is a weird election cycle - I will rank it as the most bizarre in my lifetime.

Not Lauren, obviously, but I'm not sure weird even describes this election. More like I kind of hope this is the precursor to the alien invasion, & Trump & Clinton are both pod-people testing the waters. I have an oh-so-useless Political Science degree, in normal times, I love politics. I lived overseas for 10 years, loved watching how other countries go about politics (it's alright, you can slap the official NerdGirl sticker on me now for admitting that). And, man, some of those Asian countries can get all WWE! But I don't know if I've seen/read anything quite like this. Penis size & sex tapes? Marital infidelity all around? The crazy is high in this election. Who knows, maybe we'll all be bored to tears come 2020. Then again, we could all find out we're nothing but batteries for an alien race (nerds unite, yes, that's a Matrix reference, my all time favorite movie).
