I am finally getting my little, but useful room back and get to unpack all the boxes of supplies that have been in the garage for 3 years. I wanted a Scrapbox, but it won't fit in the room so I am scoping out other ways for storage. Please show yours - the good, the bad, and the ugly are welcome as long as they are useful!

I could share one but there is nothing useful. Imagine an episode of Hoarders without dead things and that's it.

Mine is so incredibly tiny it's ridiculous. Here it is before we moved in. It's the 3rd bedroom that lost a ton a room to create the stairs into the attic. I have my desk that just fits in the alcove with the window to my right when sitting. On the long wall on the left i have an old buffet and i use for storage and can lay out my 12x12 album on top and work standing. To the right i have a storage unit from costco with the 8 canvas boxes for storage. Directly behind the door is a radiator with a table over it that can use as flat storage, but i don't like blocking the window. I need to figure out how to organize the closet to maximize my storage. I do have heat, but no AC so i have to take a break from crafting in the summer.

This will be the ugly. I've never spent any money to furnish it or bought anything new for storage. Also a sleeper sofa and a bench and our old entertainment center for storage on the other 2 walls. I use the bench for scraps and papers that I'm currently using when I don't have guests and need it for seating in the dining room.

Here's mine: (Click to enlarge) I added a cute little teal and orange flower where the period is...like This One. It's changed just a little since this was taken. I, now, have 4 wooden paper storage boxes (Stacked 2 tall) in the far right corner.

I love seeing everyone's space. My room is a shared scrap room and office. This is the scrapping side of the room.

My scrap area is a corner of my bedroom.
I have about 30+ more albums stored in the attic in Rubbermaid lidded bins. They just can't fit all in my scrap area. The albums you see on the shelf are all in progress.

I don't think a picture of two small coffee tables pushed together will help you with your scraproom storage issue... I don't have any dedicated scrap space. The little material I have is tucked away inside my wardrobe (not a walk-in). Still lovely to see everyone else's special craft room!

Patter for the win! OK, so everyone look at her room, then imagine the complete and total opposite of this, and that is mine.

myboysnme and mikklynn, thank you! My niece freehanded the flowers in pencil, and I painted them. The flowers match the rug on the floor.

The good; it stores a lot of things. I don't know what's at the very top! The bad; this is what you see when you walk into my home. There are doors that have glass (son broke one), so I took both of them off. See the cricut machine to the left? Color embellishments are in the basket on top of the machine. An IKEA Expedit bookshelf and entertainment center. Good; lots of storage. Bad; I'm not sure what's in some of those baskets. Notice the photo boxes with painters tape? That's where I store PL cards and the tape is to keep them from getting dumped. Another bad; that carpet, but it's getting replaced soon! In the corner is Iris boxes with various themes and projects. The bad; if you want one on the bottom, you have to pull them all out. After taking these pictures, I realize I need to do some organizing! I have a bookshelf in another room with a lot more albums.

This is some of my paper storage. The drawers are an Alex unit from IKEA. More Alex units and some IKEA kitchen rod storage. And DH finishing building something. My desk sits on two other Alex units. My dies. We filled a picture frame in with sticky magnet sheets from Walmart.

I'm lucky to have a dedicated space which is the smallest bedroom. Unfortunately no built in storage, but my favourite feature is my work desk which runs the length of one wall (Ikea Linnmon tables). Here are some pics (click to enlarge).

L shaped arrangement with laptop and printer
And view of storage shelves on wall with the door

My room is really tiny. It's a very small guest bedroom, about 12x12, and I've really had to work to get my organization spot on because it's so small. I love to be able to get to my supplies quickly, but I can't handle feeling overwhelmed by them, so I needed closed storage, but easy to find storage. My desk is 2 small clearance kitchen stations from Big Lots that have a cabinet, 2 shelves and an expanding leaf (under $100). I keep the leafs up and have sterilite towers underneath. On one side I keep rubber stamps, on the other I keep small supplies that I want easy access to, like my twinkling H2o's, my distressing stuff, etc. My main storage is a wall of cubes from Michael's (all bought at 40-50% off, and before the quality got really crappy). I have one row of cardstock, one row for kits/pattern papers/tablets (and more cardstock). My drawers are organized by type of item. I have my clear stamps in the small vintage style cabinet behind my desk, organized Avery Elle/Jennifer McGuire style, and the lower cabinet is 8.5x11 specialty papers. The Avery Elle envelopes are the most expensive thing in my room storage wise, and I still feel like it was worth the money to reorganize. The corner dish cabinet is buttons, brads, eyelets, etc. in jars, and adhesives/larger specialty products underneath unseen. My long closet has 2 types of storage, one door is tools, misc emb storage in an old file organizer and an old floss display case. The other side is all 12x12 towers of drawers by topic (Christmas, baby, etc.). And...other than my cubes and plastic drawers, my stuff is all repurposed junk. So...I'm really happy with how it turned out, but the corner cabinet cost me $35, and the vintage white one with stamps wasn't too much more. I just painted everything white for simplicity. The glass jars were 1/2 price at hobby lobby or yard saled. I used leftover curtains from several different moves, since I didn't have enough of any one, and they're just tied back with scrap ribbon. My biggest problem is that I'm limited on open storage. So...my cameo gets love-spot, and my manual die-cutter gets a dark cubby under a desk, where it's mourning it's lonely and purposeless existence.

My dies. We filled a picture frame in with sticky magnet sheets from Walmart. That is brilliant! I have a new project!! Thank you for the idea! How do I add photos so I can show you my scrap room ? I always have to resize my pics before I add them as an attachment, so I use PicResize.com and make my pic 75% smaller. Then click Reply, then Add Attachment. Use your resized pic, and insert.

All 3 of my pics were resized small, but one came out wonky. I guess I can try to edit later get them all the same?
