I love to binge watch tv and color. If so, do you have a favorite book or theme? I've been jumping around a bit. I recently finished a Halloween page and a fall page. I'm now working in a book called "Summer Nights by Hanna Karlzon. Show me your works or WIP.

I don't color but wanted to say that I'm always astounded by your coloring skills. The shading and level of detail you put into your work is awesome!

I thought about you this morning. I am working on a project with resin and watching some videos. One video suggested covering your mandalas (colored) in resin to make them pop. I thought that was a neat idea to make it look "finished" and pop. you'd have to mount it first but sounded kind of cool.

I never started. Oh, I bought coloring books and pencils and a really snazzy holder for said pencils. I made a color chart. Then I colored half of one page and lost interest. I have no idea why because it seems like something I would love. I think maybe I got intimidated by all the fabulous examples that people were showing and got discouraged by my first effort, which looked like an untalented 5 year old did it.

I'm leaving tomorrow for a 4-day crop and my roommate plans to knit and color. She moved and hasn't unpacked her scrapbooking stuff. She likes to nap too. Lauren, to answer your question, yes I think people still do. Your work is beautiful!

Gorgeous work, love the pumpkin. I just don't have the patience to color, though I do have a couple of books.

While I come no where near Lauren's masterful use of color and shading, I've been trying to learn from the gorgeous Tiffany lamps I've been studying about, and got to see in a museum in NYC. I go si slow, as I try to figure out which color to blend with which. And I agree, binge tv and coloring go perfect together. Here is a close up of the detail:

You're really good at coloring. I bought a querkles coloring book. I haven't colored any of it yet. If you're not familiar with it it's like a color by numbers. You don't know what the image is until you're finished. The one I have is celebrities. Some of them, like Marilyn Monroe, you can figure out before you color.

Love these!! I still do. Mostly on the app it helps me fall asleep. I do print them out too when I'm really stressed or just want something to keep my hands busy. It's still a great stress relief.

I still color, but over the summer didn't do too much. I'm sure with winter ahead, I will get them out and do some more coloring while I watch TV.

No Back in the Spring my health took a turn and my vision does not allow me to do the detailed work like that. I really miss it, too. I'm still holding on to my books and markers, but gave my Pentel 132 count pencils to my 23yr old dd.

I got the animal book and I have not been too happy with the results. I've colored two pics following their rec of dark to light (1 is darkest and 5 is lightest) and it really hasn't worked out for me. I did one in sharpies and one in prisma pencils. You can still see the numbers and there's all these extra circles hanging out. I also sucky at choosing codors. Lauren: your work is awesome!

Lauren and lesserknownpea, wow beautiful work. I do colour some, but just don't find the time. I don't have broadcast tv, so bingeing and colouring here.
I did just buy my geography nut of a ds15 a big world poster to colour (60 x 36) We've had fun doing bits here and there. We decided we would only colour on it if we were doing it together. I'm thrilled he wants to spend time with me.
