I am not fragrance sensitive but that store about knocks me out when I walk in.
I really think that they need to post a warning near the front for those that are fragrance sensitive. (unless there is one and I just didn't see it)
I love the store and don't go in it a lot, but went there last night to look for a gift. Wowza - fall scents hit me upside the head!
I don't mind a good smell in a store, but oh my gosh.

Hmmm.....guess I've never noticed at my local store. I'm not overly sensitive to fragrances either though.

I hear ya! Ours is horrible and I hate gong in there.
They seriously would sell more things if they did without the smell.

Yep. I am sensitive to smell, and I get a headache after going in. I haven't been in one in probably two years.
With places like that, I usually don't need a warning. Most times, I can tell when I'm within about 10-20 feet of the door. Bed Bath & Beyond is another serial offender. I only go when it's something I need, and have a coupon. It's a quick dash to pick up the item, then GTFO.

Yep! My DH can't set foot in the place and if I linger too long, my eyes will be watering and I'll have a headache by the time I leave. I'm not sure if the store itself is scented (as in they use some sort of spray) or if it's just the commingling of all the things they sell. It's overwhelming, either way. Bath and Body and Victoria's Secret are the same.

I have had good luck ordering online from Kirkland's. That might work for you next time if you like their merchandise and have the time to wait for the item to be shipped.

It's among a handful of stores that I avoid for this reason. I'm surprised the employees don't have headaches during their shifts!

Yes, I have always received my orders within a timely manner - a week or so...

Yep, I don't go in there because the smell is so overwhelming. You can smell it from halfway down the block. I think they're trying to cover up the chemical & pesticide smells from all the cheap Chinese crap they sell.

I hate that store. It is over the top stinky. My number one offensive small is cigarette smoke and then Kirklands. I'd rather smell dog farts.
