Great Friday and wonderful weekend to everyone!
My accomplishement for the week: I was able to max out my exercise points and ate well all week. I'm still a little frustrated at how slowly I'm losing the weight, but I accept that as my reality. At least I'm doing something.
Whether you enjoyed victory or defeat this week, I hope you keep checking in here and please keep trying!

Morning! I know I've been MIA lately.
I found out last week I have two separate injuries in my wrist (from hurting it over the summer) so I'm waiting to see a hand surgeon in early November to see if I'll need surgery. In the meantime, I'm doing all kinds of squat work, abs, and running.
Still working with my coach on nutrition. Weight is consistent but I've dropped almost 2% body fat in 3 weeks. Making some more tweaks now and will reevaluate in a few more weeks.
Hope everyone is doing well, just keep swimming regardless of where you are!

Thanks for the inspiration -- I love this thread. I've been swamped with work, so my main exercise has been getting up from my desk when my fitbit buzzes me. (: I worked until 10 last night, and here I am taking a break at 7:30 this morning.
I've not been very consistent with my eating. When I'm working at home I eat the entire fridge, but when I'm in my customer's office I only eat what I've packed. I'm sure there's something to learn out of that, but I'm too tired and stressed to do something about it.

I made the most amazing squash tonight - if you like squash, you have to try this!

I just got back from my water aerobic class, aqua fit. It really seems to tire me out and I feel tired the rest of the day. Of course I'm still working full time so that might have something to do with it. Now since its cooler, I'd like to start walking the dogs again too.

elaine That squash sounds good- have never tried delicata. I'm always searching for no carb or low carb foods for dinner. I'm still working out about 5 days a week and monitoring food. It's become a lifestyle now- guess that's good. Still get tired of the same foods- I need to change it up.

It is an amazing squash - tastes similar to sweet potatoes and is very creamy, no stringiness at all. Good for you for sticking to a workout schedule! The best I can do is walk daily right now and get 10-12K steps in daily.

elaine - that recipe sounds delicious. I've never had delicata, but I have a couple butternut, an acorn, and a sugar pumpkin on my windowsill. Do you think it would be good made with those?

Good morning everyone. I have faithfully stuck to my WW points and I'm on track to reach 70,000 steps this week. Despite being a good girl, I haven't lost one ounce. So frustrating but I'm committed to staying on track until my WW 3 months is up around Christmas. I'm bound to lose more weight.
Crittsmom just reminded me that my local pool has aquafit. Maybe I'll adding that a few times per week? Change things up a bit.

I think it definitely work with the butternut! You'll just need to peel it. Roasted butternut slices - roasted with this method - with a dressing of some sort is my favorite way to cook it!

My friend who is doing WW with me, only lost 6 ounces the first week, then 1.2 the second week and then a whopping 2.6 last week. It has been taking her body a while to adjust, but the wait loss is increasing as she stays with the program. Maybe that will happen with you too. It it is great that you are getting your steps in - I'm trying to also, although weekends are generally harder for me. I did get my 2 mile walk in early this morning after I dropped one of my boys off at a school activity at 7 am.

I joined two weeks ago, Elaine. My first week was successful. The second week is going well but my official weigh in is Monday. Nothing lost so far.
