My sweet friend gave me a big bowl of pumpkin spice muffin batter so that all I hate to do was put them in the muffin tins and bake. There's far more batter than I need right now.
Can this be frozen? I'm even thinking of freezing the batter right in the tins so that I can just pop them in the oven when ready.

As a small household I run into this problem a lot-that recipes make so much that there is no way I can eat all of it at once. Most of the time I just make it and then freeze...these days I almost always have some kind of frozen treat because I can't eat it all.
I never thought of freezing the batter though.
