I can take holiday home decor being sold at this time of year but it is at least a month too early for peppermint bark in the bakery. We haven't even started in on Halloween candy yet, can't we wait a bit longer before getting into the Christmas treats?

Oooh...I want it, but then I'd eat the whole thing in a week...less if I let my kids help me. I almost bought peppermint swiss miss for the Keurig today but $11 for 16 pods is a joke when the packets are like $2 and under for a box (it tastes better with milk, anyway). My tree should be going up any day now...so maybe that says a lot about me, lol.

Walked into Home Depot yesterday and the whole front aisle section of the store is poinsettias, Christmas trees and ornaments. Then today I made a trip to Grocery Outlet and it was the same thing... Christmas right alongside Halloween decor. Ach... too, too early.

I was in Dillard's last week. They already have Christmas decorations up throughout the store.

SaveSaveIt used to go up October 1st, but we have an October baby, so hubs makes me wait until after that (the 10th)...I'm sure if I really pushed for it, he would do it sooner, lol. We don't decorate it until November (after Thanksgiving)...that's our compromise. I've been listening to Christmas music since August (late start this year).

I was in Sam's Club about 2 weeks ago and they had Christmas treats and decorations out. I really wish we could get past Halloween before the stores start with the Christmas stuff. Makes me tired of the holidays before they even start.

My Costco has had Christmas candy for a couple of weeks now. It is weird for sure.
