There are 5 of us girls at work and I bought us each a pumpkin yesterday. I would like to put each of our initials on them. I bought real pumpkins. They are pie pumpkins and are an average size. Maybe 8" wide by 4 or 5" high. I know that I can cut monograms using my Cameo but how would you suggest adhering? I love this glittered monogram tutorial. Could I use my Ken Oliver Stick-it to do this? www.unoriginalmom.com/glitter-monogrammed-pumpkin/I can't imagine using cardstock with adhesive. I wouldn't think it'd adhere to the pumpkin well? I don't have any vinyl so unless I go and get some that is not an option. Would appreciate any help!

Well, I like the glitter monogram tutorial and didn't know if I could use the Stick-it to adhere the glitter?
If that didn't work I thought of cardstock to make a monogram but just didn't know what kind of adhesive I could use that would stick to the pumpkin.

I think glue dots would work. Those things are super sticky. Or, maybe Aleen's tacky glue?

I haven't. Almost gave up on the idea. Sometimes I forget that I don't really have any free time. I would love to do it but I may end up just tying some striped Strano ribbon around the stems and call it done.

Well, I just couldn't give them naked pumpkins so I stayed up late last night. I just used my Cameo to cut simple cardstock monograms for each of them, used Tombow glue to adhere them (did pretty good considering the rough pumpkin exterior), tied on some chipboard leaves with rustic twine and called them done. Not everything I wanted but I had fun doing it anyway. It made the girls happy today too. Here is mine on my desk at work today.

Thanks mikklynn! Good grief...I uploaded that pic from phone that time and I'm sorry that it's stupidly large! The chip leaves and the cardstock are from the Jen Hadfield Pebbles Warm & Cozy collection.

Instead of using the Cameo to cut out something to adhere to the pumpkin, how about using it to cut a stencil and adhering glitter in that way?
Edited to add: Sorry I missed your followup post, I like what you did, it's cute!

that is a super cute idea for a pumpkin! I love that you used patterned paper - and you didn't have to mess with glitter everywhere!
