at the Michaels in Hollywood, Florida, tonight. And to make it even better, it was in a bin with emoji-themed products, and everything was MARKED DOWN 70%. So I bought three different tubes for $4.59 each. That's a lot of poopy washi.

Dangit, I was just at Michael's Sunday. I didn't let myself go near the scrapbook stuff. I'm on a timeout except Christmas supplies. But I would have caved for POOP EMOJI WASHI TAPE! lol

Okay I give up. What exactly is poop emoji washi tape? Because there used to be a company that made scrapbook paper from recycled elephant dung. Seriously. So just wondering...

Some high end specialty papers are actually still made this way. It's all about their diet. You can buy some of the papers at the Safari Park in Cali and I'm sure in many other places, too...it just kind of makes sense to find it there because they have elephants there. The poop thing is simply a trend of the poop emoji being super popular. Just like you see regular emojis all over everything, there was a tube of washi designed around the poop emoji in particular. I'm kind of amused by the trend. I think pre-children I would have been horrified, but I have so many conversations around poop thanks to having kids in diapers that it's just not that shocking anymore, lol.

My Michaels had this too. I am now the proud owner of poop washi. I also bought a set of stamps.
Halloween scrappy supplies were also 70% off. I got 2 sets of TH Halloween Stamps for $4.49 each.

OK I saw my Michaels had this (and poop stickers, as well).
I have to say though - when I saw it I wondered who would really use it! LOL I guess more than I realized!

Thanks for the tip @formerlytravelagent! I bought a tube for my sister's Christmas stocking. She volunteers with an animal rescue organization, so I'm sure she'll have many occasions to use it. The glittery style will be useful for fundraiser thank you notes, I'm sure.
