We haven't done this for a while. I've been adding to my ACOT order for a while ago some of these might a few months old.
Jillibean - Chat Chat Chowder. I'm not normally a big Jillibean fan but this looked really cute online. They looked exactly the same in person: bright and happy. Nice thick paper. I know not everyone likes cream (versus white) and this does have a lot of cream. I bought the labels stickers, die cuts and soup labels. Pretty much what you would expect. I think the soup labels will work well for titles. The due cuts come with a lot (74) but they are pretty small.
Simple Stories - The Reset Girl. I didn't get too much of this paper but I like what I received. This line also has a lot of cream. The journaling card pack has a pretty gold foil effect on parts of it. I love the sticky note embellishments and the phrase stickers. The chipboard stickers are also nice - same gold as in papers.
Illustrated Faith - You Are Loved. I think I ordered everything from this collection. Love it just as much in person. Love the sherbet colors and the designs feel very current. Backgrounds are white not cream. It could be used for so many types of pages. I got the paper pieces, tabbies and stickers. Of those I like the tabbies the best.
Carta Bella - Metropolitan Girl. This was a line I was super excited about. Nice thick papers and they have a little texture which gives the paper more depth. The look gorgeous in person! The main colors are soft but they have touches of black, a darker green, teal and red that balance out the yellow, light blues and pinks. Again cream background. It is a very well designed line and my favorite of everything I ordered. I bought it for the A sides, but the simpler B sides look great too. I bought and love the ephemera too!
Doodlebug - Here Comes Santa Claus. Cute line - exactly what you would expect from Doodlebug.
Carta Bella - Christmas Delivery. Has that great Carta Bella texture. I like this but seeing it in person it feels a little dark to me. Another cream background. If you like the darker reds and greens with a good amount of black I think you will like it. Personally I like my reds and greens brighter. The designs are really cute.
Carta Bella - Snow Fun. I didn't get much of this and might have to order more. Happy colors and super cute designs.
Kaiser Craft - Party Time. Soft colors with a white background. These papers feel so thin compared to all the other lines I bought. I do really like the pink floral paper from this line - very pretty.
Fancy Pants - Life is Beautiful. I thought Fancy Pants rocked it last release so I was eager to see these. Like Carta Bella these are slightly textured which I like. These use a true white (versus cream). I like how the black grounds some of the lighter colors in this line. Not sure I will reorder line but pleased with what I bought.
Pinkfresh - Indigo Hills. I'm a big Pinkfresh line but wasn't sure how I would use some of the papers in this line so I didn't get too many papers. For me, it was the right call. Very modern designs but they feel a little flat to me. The background was probably the brightest white of all the papers I received. On the other hand, I love the embellishments from this line, especially the studio puffs.
Crate Paper - Snow and Cocoa. Classic Crate paper. I like the designs but they seem similar to past collections. Uses white not cream but the white is very dull compared to the white in the Pinkfresh line. Something about the papers just feels flat. I do like the stickers from this very much. They have different fonts, cases and colors.
Photoplay - Slightly Sassy. Didn't get too much but the color and graphics feel like October Afternoon and I mean that in a good way. White background. I might order more of these papers.
Pinkfresh - Oh Joy. These are super cute. Again a very bright white background. To me these are the perfect shades of red and green for a Christmas line - red seems like a Coke can red and the green is a pretty grass green color. Other colors are a light blue, a slate blue, putty and black. Graphics are large like they are in most Pinkfresh papers. I find the size of some of the graphics tricky to use but this line is really cute in person so I will find a way to use them. The gold foiled stickers look really good and you could easily use them with papers from other collections. I like how the phrases have a gold foil line under them which I have never seen before. These are my favorite embellishment from all the lines I bought this time. The washi stickers are cute too but might not be quite as easy to use with other lines as the gold foiled stickers though the black and white ones could. Love the gold foiled chipboard alphas too.
Simple Stories - Posh. Nice colors and easy to use patterns. Background is closer to cream than white but more in the middle than some of the other papers. Looks like some of the papers and embellishments will work well with the Simple Stiries The Reset Girl and the Gather line from Maggie Holmes. The Posh Carpe Diem stickers have a bright white background and include gold foiling.
Maggie Holmes - Gather. The colors in this line feel familiar but there are some new patterns in this collection that I like. Some of the backgrounds are white but some like the music paper are more of a cream. Overall if you like Maggie's style I think you will like this but don't expect anything drastically different than other lines from her. I got the mini tassels which are cute and it seems like I will find more uses for them than the normal size tassels.
Dear Lizzy. I got the ticket roll and it is exactly how it looks online. Very cute and will work great in embellishment clusters or page accents.
Would love to hear your opinions on new products.
