Who doesn't love Sundays? A chance to relax, reconnect, recover from a busy week... When the kids were still at home, we made it a "thing" to always have Sunday breakfast (more like brunch) and Sunday supper together. And we ate supper early enough that we could all sit together and watch the Disney hour afterward. After a hectic week of practices and games, homework and housework, Sunday was an oasis in our crazy week.
And for us in Canada THIS Sunday is one hour longer because of the shift from Daylight Saving Time to Standard Time.
Day Six prompt: Let's hear it for SUNDAYS!
How will YOU spend this day and maybe this extra hour on this day set aside for rest?
I had a busy Saturday, but plan to get a page ready for posting before the end of Sunday.

I immensely enjoy my Sundays! A good Sunday is wearing pajamas all day long. Getting more help watching my son so I can work on something I want to do. I was actually able to get decent sleep by gaining an hour.

We love Sundays around here. We always joke about having a "pajama day", but of course that never works out. Sunday is usually the day we work on the house or a project for my sweetie's elderly parents who live next door. We live in a redwood forest and last week it rained quite a bit and a HUGE tree broke and fell at the back of our property (thank goodness). That means today we have probably close to 2000 pounds of wood to cut up and remove. The in-laws will be thrilled as they, like most around here, heat with wood! So at least two things to be thankful for today - there was no damage from the falling tree (many homes and cars have been damaged up here over the years) and free wood for the old folks!

I wish I could say I enjoyed Sunday's, but Sunday means I have to go back to work the next day. Sunday is the day I am usually cleaning, or working in some way. If I give myself a scrapbook weekend, Sunday's signals its time to clean up my mess and put my supplies away. Sunday is the day we return home from camping, and I am always sad, I just want to camp all the time. I admire those who attend church and spend the day in fellowship with the Lord and their church families. For them I am so Thankful for Sundays.
