I'm interested/possibly interested in Recollections embellishments 8.5x11 paper, 5 for $10 scrapbook paper pads, possibly? Prisma color pencils? Iris Cases?
I would like a new camera, but not from Michaels.

Same here on the embellishments. Not sure about anything else at this point.

Thanks, I think i'm going to buy one of those Recollections planner for $9.99. I saw them at the store and they looked exactly like Erin Condren's planner (same coils, paper weight, etc). I have bought an Erin Condren planner for the past 2 years, but I can't justify paying over $50-80 on something I can buy at Michael's for so much less!

the 60% off storage systems is tempting, but not enough to drag me away from my family on T-giving to go to a store at 6 p.m. So, I'll let it go and find another route, another sale, another day.

If you can use the other 30% off, it is an actual 72% off. That is a good deal. They are also opening two hours later than usual. They must have had some complaining about the four o'clock opening time since many employees probably had to stay really late Wednesday or get in earlier than the four o'clock to set up the store. We finish dinner about three, so it isn't a big deal to me. I live with all males and they take their turkey filled butts downstairs to watch football.

Completely agree, Nancy, on the 72% being an excellent price. But our family dinner begins at 4, and I'm one of the football crowd, after the dishes are washed. I'll have a twinge of regret for missing the sale for sure, but it won't be strong enough to change my plans. (Not to mention this year it's the DH's family so he'd kill me if I left to go buy craft storage!)

I used to love going to Michaels during a BIG SALE day or when I had a really good coupon. Now it's too peopley and I can't deal. There are just people swarming everywhere and I get freaked out. Plus I get too hot waiting in line at the store. I will try to make it at some point that weekend, though because I would like some washi and I think it is on sale. It was 50% off last week (in Canada) and I didn't go and get any. I was tired after dealing with Costco (which took all of 5 minutes...) but it was all peopley, too, and I just couldn't drive through the traffic light and go to Michaels. The struggle was just so real right there. I had to come home. (I am sure you are all feeling sorry for me now... I have a wicked headache and if I am not making any sense it is lack of sleep AND headache).

elannah- Big hugs. Yes, I do feel sorry for you. Headaches and panic attacks are the worst nightmare, especially together. I am not good in peopely places either. Last year I went to Michael's on Black Friday and nobody was in there. I think there were five ladies and my husband. All the registers were open and the cashiers looked bored. I did go late at night. I panic in crowded stores too and practically pass out in line. I feel bad and embarrassed when it happens. I have PTSD. No fun. I was really hoping for the Scan n Cut to be on sale. I already told DH there were good yarn deals. His eyes lit up. I will be in the yarn if anybody wants to say hi.

Just noticed it was a doorbuster.

It's mostly the men staring at the football game and ignoring the people around them. I might as well go shopping with the females and there's more family bonding that way. The Michael's employees will be working like all the employees at the football stadium in low paid jobs like concessions.

I'd like that storage with the iris cases. Doubt I will go out to get it though.

As nice as those sales are, I can't deal with the crowds during Black Friday sales.
I have gone to one, once in my whole life, decades ago. Never again. I'd rather pay the full price than fight for discounted goods.
