Lego compatible doesn't mean that it is Lego brand.

Lego compatible doesn't mean that it is Lego brand. That's exactly why they call it Lego compatible. That means it will work with Legos even though it's not Lego brand. Save

Thanks. I ordered them as a filler gift for my 6yo, he's not picky about brands so for $5, I figured why not.

Heads up these are generally horrible quality, we do minifigure trading at the park and unfortunately people trade these and my son has ended up with at least 3, because he didn't know the difference when he picks them out. However the printing is generally what gives it away for me and they fall apart really easily so the quality is not there, plus who wants to step on a tiny Lego minifigure compatible hand late at night? Not me!

Each figure come completely unassembled. Fair warning after putting together twenty of those guys, your thumbs will start to hurt.
The minifigures come unassembled?
Do real Lego minifigures usually come unassembled & you have to put them together?

At Disney World we have gone to the Lego store and you can put together your own mini figure with different bodies, arms, etc.

Do real Lego minifigures usually come unassembled & you have to put them together? Yeah, Lego minifigures always come unassembled. Part of the fun of the kits is building the little guy (or girl). And they're easy to snap together, and even easier to pull apart. My kids love mix and matching them. I would stay away from the Lego compatible. They are hard to put together and they don't really fit with original lego b

I echo the warning that the cheap "Lego compatible" sets often aren't very compatible at all. They may fit together with actual Lego pieces, but they often won't stay together. In fact, they often don't even stay together with the pieces of their own brand or set, either. We've had tears and frustration here more than once when playing with a set from even a more established brand like Mega Bloks. I understand that Lego minifigures are kind of pricey at $4.00 a pop, but it tells you there's bound to be a quality difference when these brands are basically offering you 20 for the price of one, kwim? Now, if you are interested in just a variety of non-specialized actual Lego figures, you can sometimes find a decent price on a lot of used ones from ebay. They're going to look played with, and you have to be careful to avoid the generics, but it's a way to spend less than 4.00 per figure for anyone interested in only actual Lego. s/o: Lego has actually won a few lawsuits against companies in other countries who were making Lego knock-offs that either came right out and used the name "Lego" or that were very close copies (in appearance) to existing Lego sets/figures.

Be careful and look at all the 'options'. I originally ordered with over $5.00 shipping. Changed it to $1.00 shipping. I seriously wonder if they will arrive by Xmas but for me that doesn't matter. It's not a Prime - free shipping item.

Do real Lego minifigures usually come unassembled & you have to put them together? Real minifigures can be taken apart from the head torso and legs and hat or hair. These come 100% unassembled, e.g. You have to put the hands into the arms and the arms into the torso, this is why the hands fall out and they're terrible quality. I'd stay away from them. They're a real waste of money.

Real LEGO minifigs come with the hands and arms attached you just put the head and legs on the body. The hands and arms do come off they're just really hard to get back on. In my experience knockoff LEGOS are of terrible quality and they don't mix with the real deal but minifigs can be stand-alone so these might be a nice addition to a LEGO collection.
