Hoping someone here would know! Just wondering if waiting for Black Friday is fruitless or not.

I've only seen the tumblers on sale. I just searched through a couple of the sites I use to find deals on various things and I didn't find a single post on the coolers.

I have the Yeti 35 and 45 set on my CamelCamelCamel account to alert me if the price drops below a certain point. So far... no luck.

No, from what I was told it Yeti set the price. The retailers can offer specials like buy a cooler get a cup or hat. Sometimes they discount the tumblers but the coolers are a set price. We have one and love it along with he large cup and med cup.

I doubt they really do. We had a friend a couple of years ago who worked for them and was able to get one "at cost" for a charity raffle. It was still crazy expensive.

My husband picked up a Yeti Tundra 35 on Sunday night for one of our Navy boys. Cabela's had an invitation-only shopping time after regular store hours offering employee discount prices to all shoppers. Their regular price on it was $299 and he thinks he paid around $254 with the discount. We were happy with that!

I've heard the the RTIC coolers are just as good for half the price. I ordered two different sizes a few weeks ago when they had a pre-black Friday sale. I gave one to my hubby for his birthday and he was stoked! He doesn't know I have another one for Christmas. I've heard nothing but good things about them if you're willing to buy something besides yeti.

You might want to look at Rtic. We have some of their products.. They are very good and compare to Yeti (except the price). My DH is looking at PolarBear soft side coolers which also get good reviews. They have a Black Friday special with code 2112

I think Yeti's are over-rated. My dh won at work. We were not impressed with its ability to keep items cool. Didn't last longer than any other cooler we have used.

I saw them at Costco yesterday. They were in a 2 pack but they were more like a thermos than a coffee container. Do they make thermoses, too?
