if people opened themselves up....there would be so many more 'unlikely' friendships!
i love these two....

Martha always had an eclectic guest list back in the day on her old show. I don't know if that was where/when they met, but I can see a them bonding over a love of food.

I set a season pass today. I'm very curious about the whole thing. They seem to have an odd, great chemistry when they were on Ellen as guests.

I'm strangely tickled by this pair. Looking forward to seeing the show.

I know it's so weird right?! The picture in that link is just hilarious! For a 75 year old she looks amazing! It's interesting to see they've done quite a few shows together so it's not a random pairing, they actually know each other and might actually have thought of this themselves, how scary. lol

The first thing that popped into my head was the tv show about unlikely animal friendships- the chicken and the horse, the puppy and the elephant, the cat and the monkey. Hehe

I have seen them together several times and think Snoop is just mellow enough for Martha's more "structured" personality. Martha does laugh at herself a lot, so that is a plus.

I've seem them together somewhere and they seem to truly care for each other. Martha seems more rigid but if you watch her closer she really isn't. She likes to do her stuff (cook, craft) precisely but seems to not expect that of others. The only time I remember feeling she was a bit out of touch with the rest of us was when she was talking gardening and saving seeds. She suggested you keep them just like she does. In her spare refrigerator. In her basement. Of her greenhouse. Martha, Martha, Martha, not everyone has a spare refrigerator, or a greenhouse, with a basement! ETA I do remember her saying she made friends in prison and taught a lot of women how to knit. Ponchos, I think.

I read an article with them and Martha mentioned, "The only thing we smoke is meat!"

They're cute together, and yes---very unlikely! The show sounds like a BLAST, too---the guest list is awesome! Thanks for the link!
