I didn't know who she was so I clicked your link.
She supported Jeb Bush. This is news that she's voting for Hillary? Please. It's very old news that Jeb supporters may follow his lead and not vote for Trump.

I respect her a great deal. It's interesting. We are both from the same country, came to the US around the same time for the same reason, we are both around the same age, and we are both lawyers. Although we are different politically, I understand perfectly where she is coming from.

I have heard her say before that if the polls seem close she would most likely vote for Clinton but otherwise she was writing her mothers name.
She has been a lifelong republican and I believe this is a big deal for her.

She is a Republican strategist. She was fired up and very upset, as many people were, over Trump's remarks about grabbing women by the pussy.
She became one of my hero's when a Trump supporter became upset that she used the word pussy when talking about the tape on a CNN news program. To quote Ana, “Don’t tell me you’re offended when I say ‘pussy,’ but you’re not offended when Donald Trump says it,”
The clip from that segment went viral.
I suspected after that she would vote for Hillary Clinton.

At first I was all indignant that *HE*could say it and be defended and *SHE* said it and caught slack for it. I mean what's good for the gander and all.... But then I'm like, whatever, I don't like the word pussy anyway.

Thanks for sharing. I like Ana and always thought she did a great job arguing the Republican perspective. My admiration has grown as she kept calling out the Trump apologists (Scottie and Kayleigh especially) for his behavior. It was Scottie that went bugeyed and flipped on Ana for using the word pussy.
It is news that someone long involved in Republican campaigns (most recently Bush, but also John McCain) decides to vote for a Democrat rather than third party, a write-in or not to vote on the presidential ticket.

There are plenty of people who have jumped both ships and swum to the other shore, so this is how I feel about yet one more....

This is where so many of my Republican friends, and my Republican husband, stand. Most of my Republican friends have ended up here too. A few are voting for Hillary and many are voting third-party, but none of them are openly supporting Trump (and most of them are vociferously opposed to him).

I understand why she voted against Trump and why she felt she had to vote for Hillary because of her home state; Florida. That is one good thing about being in a state that doesn't matter, I can vote 3rd party without any guilt.

Maybe I would have cared a couple of months ago. Tonight, I do not. I get that. I was just surprised that you were so dismissive about something that was of great interest to the rest of us. But I do get that we're all tired and on edge at this point. Just for the record, I know a number of Republicans in real life who say they won't vote for Trump. I don't know a single Democrat or even independent who refuses to vote for Hillary. At least, of those who talk about it.

That's the mystery tonight, isn't it? I was just listening to someone from the Clinton campaign talking about the huge numbers of Latinos in Florida who have already voted. She's counting them all as voting for Hillary without any seeming regard for all of those of Cuban heritage who are unhappy with the recent changes in policy. That, to me, suggests that her assumptions are way too assuming. For the record, I absolutely hate this time. I hate it. I hate considering all of us as: blacks/African Americans, Latinos, women with college degrees, women without college degrees, fat kids, skinny kids, kids who climb on rocks, ... I hate it. I want these assumptions broken to smithereens. I want a nation of individuals, not all these set in concrete categories. <Sitting here anticipating a miserable next 24 hours. >

Clinton has bad character AND continually exercises it. The Clintons have been like that for decades. probably their whole lives. we've been living with that for almost 8 yrs now. and what a mess the US is now. so she votes for a continuation of the destruction of our country.
DBO just did away with the checks and balances and the other dems have cheered him on.
no, the left brings that out. we've had it for many yrs now. It was the DNC/HC people who hired those to go out and cause trouble at the Trump rallies. they're the ones who bus people in to vote in a 2nd/3rd district... just like they bused them in to cause trouble in places like Ferguson.
the left obviously isn't embarrassed or ashamed of their warts... they don't think they have enough of them... they hire more. probably with money from Soros (via the DNC) - a friend of DBO.
and DBO has brought us that from the WH for the past 8 yrs.

This is where so many of my Republican friends, and my Republican husband, stand. This is what began to sway my vote towards HRC too. I am a lifelong Republican down to working on political campaigns and my first job out of college was for a republican senator in DC. I get that there are issues with both candidates, but this sums up my head during this election cycle too.
