My recipe calls for 1 cup of nuts in it. But I want to make a loaf for a friend as well and she can't have nuts at all (due to health issues, not allergies). If I leave out the cup of nuts, will it still bake ok???

Yes. I never add nuts and it always comes out fine.

It will be okay. Sometimes I add some mini chocolate chips to banana bread.

No problem. My family won't eat nuts so I have to leave them out too. I also add chocolate chips.

yes. I just like mine with nuts because of the texture it adds. otherwise, it's still a nice dense bread.
