My budget is limited so I'm not looking at top of the line exercise bikes - just decent basic ones. Any suggestions on what to get (or NOT to get)? Probably am going to need to buy from either Walmart (site to store) or online
Thanks

I love my Schwinn AirDyne: my sister (a physical therapist) recommends this one. It has a large front flywheel, rowing arms, and a tachometer/odometer. It is amazing. Now, before you look it up and pass out from the price: hold on one second. I bought a $1100 AirDyne for $10 and I've seen them for as low as $30 to $60 at thrift shops. So before you rush out to WalMart and buy a cheap bike that will discourage you and that you will discard, please check thrift shops and sports consignment shops like Play It Again Sports. If that fails, hang tight for a few weeks: exercise bikes show up by the boatload in discount shops around February 1st (right around the time that the New Year's resolution has been broken and the Xmas gift thrill has worn off). Besides, shipping charges on an exercise bike are going to be a small fortune: a good one weighs a lot.
A good exercise bike is worth searching for: a cheap bike will be difficult to ride and very uncomfortable. You'll likely give up before you get results. On the AirDyne, I ride 10 miles a day (takes less than 45 minutes) and my labwork at the doc's is amazingly good. It's great cardio and really easy to use. Good luck!
