Has anyone been to one? My 10 yo dsl absolutely loves them, and they are coming to the Bok arena near us, so I'm wondering if it would be appropriate to take him.
I understand there will be a mosh pit, but could we find a place that we could avoid the most rambunctious of fans?
I've actually never ever been to any type of concert, so I don't know how it all works!

I took my 13 year old daughter to them in September. Fantastic concert!! It was outdoor and there were clearly pot being smoked near us, but whatever.
The concert itself was pretty tame. I'd take a 10 year old and I saw a few younger ones than that there at the time.

Went to two with DD who is 16... one in Orlando and one in Minneapolis. The Minneapolis was General Admission seats. DD got in line early and was at the barrier and I wandered the venue. Here is here photo: scontent-ort2-1.xx.fbcdn.net/t31.0-8/13668014_10153566975746148_7667442852200164986_o.jpgShe is in the lower left hand corner looking the opposite way of everyone else... she said someone was pulling her hair so she was looking back to see what was going on... .the photo just cracks me up! We had seats at the Orlando show and I was concerned with the GA ones for MPS as they crowd surf and other things but all was ok. In Orlando there was a kid about 9 or 10 who was having the time of his life. If you are ok with the lyrics you may want to look into a non GA ticket.

I don't think they are coming by us anytime soon, but that's good to know.
My 9 year old loves them. My husband likes to go to shows with her (the appropriate ones anyhow.) I think he uses it as some kind of subconscious reward for her not listening to Taylor Swift or Justin Bieber.

If you are ok with the lyrics you may want to look into a non GA ticket. I agree. My son went with a group of all teens and a 12 year old and it was not general admission.

Thanks everyone! I am afraid Mallory non GA tickets are sold out. So I probably won't get him tickets. But we'll pay attention for the next tour!

OMG! You're brilliant! I have had exactly ZERO ideas for DD's Christmas present. A weekend trip for a Twenty One Pilots concert for her and a friend is PERFECT. I could only get nosebleed seats, but that's OK!
