I did a quick search and couldn't find anything on this subject. I thought this would make a light hearted post. It appears that they are quite serious about each other . We could do with a royal wedding to cheer us up!

Do you think it would be as big an event as when William got married and televised or do you think it'll be much smaller and just see snippets of it here and there.

From past history, I think it would be televised. Prince Andrew's wedding to Sarah Ferguson was televised. I don't think it would be as big as Prince William's wedding though.

There was a thread a while back but I think the search feature doesn't always work. What is the current thought on royals marrying women who have been previously married? I guess since Prince Charles did it, it isn't as frowned upon as it used to be. Although the last article I read said he was smitten ~ have they progressed to talking about marriage? I think he is adorable and I think she is beautiful.

I don't think her divorce would get in the way. There is no talk of marriage but the fact he issued a statement last week regarding their relationship is quite telling.

I agree, he doesn't have the same obligation, if that i the right word that Prince William had or has. Compared to past Royal weddings Prince William was actually quite a small affair. Knowing Prince Harry he'd probably elope I'm not sure how the relationship will proceed if it comes to be that serious. She's divorced and at the present time The Church of England do not give an automatic right of divorcee's to marry in church. There again he's gone down the pecking order since Prince George & Princess Charlotte have been born....we've now got enough spares

I thought they were just starting out. Poor woman though, people are nuts. Did you see the statement release on prince Harry's behalf asking for privacy? "the nightly legal battles to keep defamatory stories out of papers; her mother having to struggle past photographers in order to get to her front door; the attempts of reporters and photographers to gain illegal entry to her home and the calls to police that followed; the substantial bribes offered by papers to her ex-boyfriend; the bombardment of nearly every friend, co-worker, and loved one in her life." www.royal.uk/statement-communications-secretary-prince-harry
