I only went on to look at the gallery and pea soup- downloaded so many quotes, titles and full page black and white pages of layouts. Only recently came across a whole pile and threw them out! I ventured onto the NSBR site one day but never posted. That was my story, too. I read about 2 Peas from a couple of scrapbookers who posted their layouts on line and mentioned it. It wasn't long after it opened. I would check out the Pea Soup and the gallery. I think I ordered a few pieces of paper one time, because I had been registered for 5 years before I found the message boards. Peas used to comment on layouts in the gallery, and I was fascinated with all the stuff they had in their signatures. I really had no idea people had actual conversations! I was rambling through the different parts of the site one day and I must have come across one of the pages that gave a list of the hot topics of the day and a title must have caught my attention, because I clicked on the link and got drawn into several pages of a heated political "discussion." I made a simple comment - the thread was several pages long already at that point - my very first post and my pea badge was already 5 years old. I was called a troll (I was picturing the toy dolls and had no clue what they were talking about.) and ignored. I was going through the worst time of my life, and it really pissed me off how damn dismissive and mean some of the people could be. But, at the same time, I was intrigued with the obvious close bonds that people had formed. Here I am. 8 years later.

I started scrapbooking around 1998. I was on the AOL scrapbooking message board. I'm pretty sure you couldn't post anything that was non-scrapbook related on that one. So I came over here and was on the GS board probably for a couple years before I ventured to NSBR. I had another name before this so I probably signed up initially around 2000 and then changed it and started posting some in 2002.

Yes, I googled to get ideas and came across the gallery. I looked there daily! I did not sign up until 2006, but I was scrapbooking earlier than that. I want to say 1995 or so.

Oh, I forgot to mention that it was the first online scrapbooking shop I was brave enough to buy from!
I was lured in by the Chatterbox Den paper pad ( I found some still hoarded last weekend) and the SEI paper.
Could not buy these brands in Australia and I just had to have them all! Although postage was never cheap, it was still worth it to have the latest and greatest products way before they ever appeared in shops here.

I found the site via the internet when I first stated to scrap. I was looking for page ideas. The rest is history.

I was looking for scrapbooking ideas and I think I googled. I spent a lot of time on the site before I ever found my way to the NSBR. Once I did that's where I spent all my time.
I had no idea the original was closing, even though I was there almost every single day. I was so sad and shocked and had no idea where everyone went. I felt like I had lost my friends, even though I rarely post and no one knows me.
I was there for so many years lurking and learned so much. My whole family knew what I meant when I would say something about "the peas." And I can't tell you how many times I would be thinking of something or have something on my mind and I'll be darn, someone will be posting about it. Really random things sometimes and it's so odd that someone is out there with the same thing on their mind at the same time I have it on mine.
I don't know when it was that I found the old board but I know I was there a long time because I can remember almost everything that's brought up about it.
I think it was a month or more before I found you all here and I almost cried tears of joy! lol

An ad in Creating Keepsakes magazine. I had found DMarie first, but 2 Peas is where I joined and stayed.

I started scrapbooking when my oldest were 2yo back in 2000, so I found 2peas somewhere around then. I had been spending most of my online time at ivillage until then, but when I found NSBR it was like I fell into a black hole and there was no going back!

I was a member of UKScrappers and it was a post there by Shimelle, I think, that led me to 2Peas. I joined in the early 2000s but mainly for the inspiration from the gallery. I used to read NSBR but hardly ever posted because you all scared the living daylights out of me!

I was very late to the scrapbooking party but it was through UKScrappers and Shimelle that I found my way to 2Ps. I started posting pretty much straight away but was largely ignored, one Pea did manage to jump on pretty much everything I said and rip it to shreds though. It didn't deter me

I worked in a LSS and kept hearing whispers of this 2 Peas place so I googled.
Started solely in the gallery and scrapbook board, but went over to the dark side after someone mentioned drama on the scrapbook side. Boy can the Peas do drama, but when it comes down to it, we still get along.

I don't remember when I joined because I have memory damage from some medical treatments I had to undergo (20 ECT treatments a few years ago). I started scrapbooking in 1997. Scrapbook Addict rings a bell, and so does DMarie. I know I was on the TwoPeas message board for many years, and joined this one as soon as Two Peas vanished.

I signed up in 1999. I was a lurker for a long time, was very intimidated by NSRB! I spent a lot of time on the scrapbook side, then crossed to the dark side. I know my number was less than 1000. I was looking in my archives to see if I saved a screenshot.

I also came via dMarie back in 2001 I'd like to say - I know I was registered on the old board, but then forgot my login/didn't pop over much until 2003 when I had to re-register. I had totally forgotten about it until dMarie was mentioned, but there was this old Creative Memories board I used to frequent all the time, but can't even remember its name now! Even though I rarely post, this is home.

I started scrapbooking in 2000 when my DD was born. I happened to get a CK magazine and was blown away by the layouts and products used. Up until then I had creative memories and Michael's. I found an ad for 2 peas. I think it was around 2004. For a long time I was simply a lurker. But I joined around 2005 or 2006. My board name was gimmecandy. Nsbr sucked me in. My life fell apart in 2009 and I stopped posting. Then I came back in 2011 and couldnt remember my log in anymore. That's when I created this username.

I joined early 2000. I was searching for scrap booking inspiration when I happened upon 2peas. I was sucked into the NSBR vortex, and I've been stuck ever since.

I think I originally joined in 2000 found 2peas through DMarie - There are so many people I remember from years ago that are no longer here.
I started scrapbooking in 1993 when I saw some CM stickers.
