I've been watching a wonderfully entertaining TV show from Australia about a female OB doctor and her wacky extended family. It's called "Offspring". I just started Season 5 last night-well actually finished Season 4. Tonight I'll start Season 5. I love this show! The first couple of episodes I wasn't sure but I'm so glad I stuck with it.
Is anyone else watching this? Any other shows or movies you've seen that you can recommend?

I watched the movie Big Eyes about the female painter whose husband claimed the work as his own. (Keane)

I watch Offspring when I have nothing else to watch. I don't really like the female lead doctor, but I like a lot of the other characters.
I watched Good Girl Revolt and enjoyed it.

I am on season 3 of The Fall. It's about a serial killer (that's not a spoiler). It's really interesting because it shows the point of view from the police side and the killer's side. I recommend!

I've never heard of Offspring, but I have gotten some great recommendations here (Doctor Foster!) so I will check it out.

I've been watching Doctor Foster implode, Queen Elizabeth deal with The Crown, and catching up with the Gilmore Girls.
I will have to look for Offspring.

We've started watching The Crown which is a nice change from OITNB and Wentworth which is what we usually watch We also really enjoyed Mr. Selfridge ... if you liked Downton Abbey you would enjoy it!

I'm patiently waiting for Fuller House Season 2.
I also finished Rizzoli and Isles. Great show.
Think I may start watching some British Shows.

I was thinking about trying out "The Fall". Trying out to me is watching at least one episode, possibly two to see how I like it. The preview looked good when I was scrolling through the other night. Great to hear a recommendation. I think I will give it a try now.

I started watching "The Crown" and I really enjoyed it, but then I kept falling asleep during it-it was NOT the show's fault. There was a 3 day span I was without my medication that helps me sleep (I have a sleep disorder) because the silly people that work in my doctor's office kept getting mixed message's about my medication refill. I decided to leave that more serious, entertaining and for me at least educational show (I never had a chance to study British history) for when I had my medication back and switch to "Offspring" which is a lighter show for the time being.

I watched the movie Big Eyes about the female painter whose husband claimed the work as his own. (Keane) I watched this-wasn't it atrocious how her husband took all the credit for her paintings for years? I was so mad at him I wanted to reach through the TV and kick him in the balls!

The Crown. It's so good! The actors, the story line and the scenery is amazing. Kind of neat to watch since it's based on a true story.
I finished The Fall season 3 last week. It was okay. Season 1&2 were really good and I felt this one was rushed and a let down.

I'm itching to watch Season 3 of The Fall Bitchy Rich, but usually watch one series at a time so have been working my way through Shameless. I loved Season 1 and 2, but am getting to the point where I want something good to happen for at least one of the Gallaghers and have to keep going. The Crown is also on my list, but I'll watch The Fall first.

I am LOVING it! Could I add any more exclamation points to my post LOL!!! The show started on TV here in 2010. I don't know why I didn't watch it back then, perhaps it clashed with something else I wanted to watch and I didn't bother taping it. DD was only 12yo so she was a bit young to watch it back then - it can get a bit raunchy! Anyway, we are binge watching it at the moment and we are up to Season 2 Episode 12. So you've just finished season 4 - how did you cope with the ending? Even though I'm not up to that yet I know what happens - it was BIG news here at the time. I even watched that last episode. I have also just finished Mad Men on Netflix. I had watched every season except the last, so finally got to see that. Now I need to get back into Sons of Anarchy. I think I'm up to Season 4, I can't really remember.

Hey, I also have a sleep disorder If I don't take meds I'm also up for three days straight I don't watch TV at that time though ... I read ... a lot Somehow dh managed to watch The Crown and play on his phone at the same time ... he is the ultimate multitasker

I just finished Season 2 of Narcos.
Amazing true story about two DEA agents' involvement in the hunt for Pablo Escobar. It was incredibly violent though.

I somehow missed 24 the first time around. I started watching and boy am I hooked. I love a good spy shoot 'em up nook so I figured I'd give it a go. I am really liking it. And since I am only about half way through the second season I have a long long way to go. 😂

DS and I are watching The 100. It's okay. Pretty predictable. DD decided she wants to watch TWD now so I'm watching it with her from the beginning. For the third time. ETA : we just watched the episode where Rick told Dr Jenner he was grateful for the help and the Dr replied "the day will come when you won't be". Pretty timely.

I'm part way through The Crown, but I'm watching it slowly on purpose lol. Also going through some of Gilmore Girls again for fun.
I just put Offspring and Big Eyes on my list thanks to this thread!

We loved Narcos. I just finished The Crown on my own. It was good. Really authentic settings and costumes, etc..
I also recently watched North and South (older 4-part miniseries), the documentary about Amanda Knox, and I'm always catching episodes of The Office. I really liked the original British Office too.

SOOO "on the edge of my seat" that I'm not sure I could watch it now and sleep afterwards.
