I was wondering if Michael's takes the 20% off total purchase coupon from Joann's?
My son needs some poster frames!
Thanks!

That's a good question. I have to go pretty far for a good Joann's to use my coupons. Much easier if I can use it at Michaels instead.

So, I called the store and they said they do accept the 20% off total purchase coupons from J's as well. Hopefully that is company wide and not by location.
Hope that helps.
Happy Shopping!!

Mine always take competitor coupons as long as they are actual paper coupons and not digital or copies.

Not per company policy unless it changed very recently, but many staff members are uneducated on full policy and assume you can (when that happens, enjoy it, lol). They also aren't supposed to take 60% off coupons (give 50% off instead) but again, some staffers don't know that.

At the Michaels I frequent some clerks refuse to take competitor coupons. That is until I very politely point out the coupon policy that is hanging right above their heads at the cash register. Now I've got on their email list and I get new coupons every day, sometimes twice per day.

At my Michaels, the clerks are all about giving you the best deals they can. They accept other coupons, help people find the coupons on their phones, ask about teacher/military discounts etc. I recently got an AARP card and now get and additional 10% off most purchases that are already discounted. Last weekend, the paper was discounted 40%, but the sign said 5/$1. It rang up as 40%, but the clerk very sweetly went through all 100 papers and entered the extra discount for me. The dude behind me wasn't as pleased, but I have always liked our clerks for years. The manager can be a grumpy codger, so I think the ladies try to counterbalance him.
