I'm looking for a way to get my photos on display - for the family to see and enjoy them. During the time... they are waiting to be "scrapped". Where do you keep yours - please be specific. Thanks,

My photo developer sends my photos in plastic storage boxes, and I label them and keep them on a shelf in my craft room. I don't display them usually - if there are any really good photos that I want for display, I am more likely to print them larger and frame them.

I don't keep the pics I'm going to scrap out before I scrap them. They stay in their Snapfish envelope, with the month, year, and activities/events depicted written on the outside envelope.
I do have a photo display above my bed, but they are photos that I would like to stay there. I bought a wire with mini clothespins for $3.99 at Walmart, and clip up photos that I love, so that I can see them every day.

On my compuer which is set to do a slideshow for a screensaver.
I only print photos for 5-10 LO at a time. I plan those pages and make kits. So the photos go in the page kit to be scrapped.

I don't display photos before scrapping. They are sorted and stacked into M's photo file boxes--or scattered all over one corner of my scrapcounter. I try to get recent photos into my scrapbooks as quickly as possible, because the scrapbooks are the way I share the photos.
We also have some photo share sites on line that are closed to all but invited guests. All the kids and I post photos we want to share with the rest of the family on our site.
If I don't have the books with me, and haven't posted the photo, the dgk's enjoy scrolling through the photos on my phone &/or my camera.

I put mine in 9"x12" manila envelopes, sorted by activity and which scrapbook. For example, I'll put Christmas 2016 for Cade in one envelope, labeled. I re-use the envelopes, just crossing out the data. I store the envelopes in vertical magazine holders.
ETA - this works great for ephemera, too. I toss the tickets, postcards, map, etc right in the envelope with the photos.

I put them by date in a photo box. Dividers for each set by date and what I am scrapping along with a card of my journaling details. I also put the related ephemera (tickets and stuff) right there with the photos. I started doing this about 8 months ago and it is making my scrapping easier for me because it is all together. I have a separate box by topic - things we do (box 1-2-3), me, home, pets, etc. I have a holiday box also since I decided I want Christmas in its own album. So my albums match my photo box types. Working really good for me. If I feel like scrapping home I can pull out that photo box and I also know which album the pages go into. Glad I took the time to rearrange it this way. So much easier than spending time trying to find stuff.

I put them in the album with finished layouts. I've found if they are out of sight, they are out of mind. So, when I get new photos, I immediately put them in my 3 ring binder albums. I randomly finish pages as I feel the urge. I realize this look may bother some people.

I share any favorites on Facebook, so my family has already and can see them when they want. Prints go into a photo storage box and I keep the organized by event/topic/etc.

I randomly finish pages as I feel the urge. I realize this look may bother some people. I do this when I am getting ready to start an album. Sort photos by place/event, then put them roughly in order in the pockets, sometimes with memorabilia if I have it, or possibly some suitable papers.

In the computer... I never get around to printing the pics I want to scrap until right before I'm going to have a scrap day. Then I edit like a mad woman, upload to Costco and scrap them.

I've found it's the best way for me to work out what photos to put together and to know how many pages each layout needs to be.

I like being caught up in Project Life. I'm just an average picture taker, and I'm OK with that because the whole point for me is that seeing the photos brings the memories. So when I get time I send the latest batch to Walmart one hour processing and put them in my album right away. I've done it so much that the guy at the photo counter recognizes me and gets my photos out before I say my name. That's sweet of him.
Then when the page is full and I get some more time I look at the colors on the page and plan what kind of background cards to use (if any), what kinds of journaling to do and what kinds of embellishments to add.
