We've done boiled hamburg and rice with good results when our dog has had pancreatitis. She's allergic to chicken so this was vets recommendation. And there's pretty much no dog that will turn their nose up at hamburg helps get them eating. My other dog quickly figured out he could get hamburg with her if he just refused all food and we feared he's starve, lol.
Glad you dog is feeling a bit better and glad you think you've found the cause!

What does double boiled mean? I have chicken breasts in my pressure cooker right now. I don't know if I'll use all of them for the dog food. Should I also boil (after pressure cooking) the portions I use for her? Should the rice be cooked twice?

I usually boil enough hamburg and rice for the day and keep them in separate containers in the refrigerator. I warm up slightly when using.

So Daisy hasn't pooped yet. How long, after she starts eating again, should I expect her to finally poop? It's getting hard to follow her around all the time to monitor it, especially at night.
To review, she threw up everything starting monday morning. Last time throwing up was Wednesday afternoon. She started eating again (very small amounts) on Thursday. Ate about 1-1/4 cans of dog food on Friday. No poop as of Friday night/saturday morning at midnight.
Tomorrow I'll make oatmeal (I thought I had rice but I only have white rice and the recipe says brown) and mix it with the chicken and pumpkin.

gale w, glad Daisy is feeling better. I don't remember having digestive issues with my dogs, so nothing to really offer in that regard, but I was thinking, maybe walking the dog will help to get things moving so that she poops?

I've been walking her every 2 to 3 hours around the clock. I'm exhausted. Still nothing as of this morning but at least she's eating and acting normally otherwise.

I would say she will go today or tomorrow. I wouldn't worry too much about it. She has been through a lot. It can take a bit. I know when our dog had surgery in October, we were told to call if he hadn't pooped in 5 days. Hang in there. Oh, and pumpkin will help get things moving along.

I made the bland food with oatmeal, pumpkin and chicken. I didn't use cinnamon or ginger since she hasn't thrown up for a while. Huge huge hit. She loves it.

My boys actually get pumpkin with all meals year round. I even take bones (with the marrow out), and stuff them with pumpkin and freeze them. Great, great treats.

So now she is scarfing the food down so fast I'm worried she'll make herself sick. I guess I need to figure out a way to slow her down. In other news, she pooped last night.
