Hey there...I'm having a hard time finding somewhere to buy a party dress for an upcoming company Holiday party. I'd prefer 'in person' but there's nothing in my area, so would any of you ladies like to share where you buy your party/cocktail dresses on line at reasonable prices?
TIA!

I've had luck with ModCloth and Zappo's in the past.

I buy most of my dresses, casual to cocktail to formal, at Dillard's or Von Maur.

Nordstrom's -- I prefer to shop in person as well, but their customer service is excellent to help you with the fit of a dress on-line.

I just rented from Rent the Runway. The ladies here had great reviews and I am super excited about being able to wear a designer dress for teeny $$

Nordstrom's -- I prefer to shop in person as well, but their customer service is excellent to help you with the fit of a dress on-line. Even better if you have a Nordstrom Rack outlet. I bought one last month for $70 for a wedding and had planned to wear it for the office Christmas party, but it will be at Mount Vernon next week. It will be cold, so I have NO idea what to wear for that!

I get mine at Anthropologie. The sticker prices aren't cheap, but everything generally goes on sale for at least 40-50% off at some point, and sometimes 75%.

Zappos have free shipping both ways. You can order several choices, try them on and easily return them. They also ship super fast 1 or 2 days.

Macy's or Carson's. Sometimes they have the same item but one store has it cheaper and/or a better coupon. Make sure to use ebates too to save you some extra money!

Dillard's has so many party dresses! But I actually bought mine this year from Neiman Marcus. I was afraid to even look at the prices there but remarkably, I hit it when they had a 20% off sale and it was cheaper than comparable dresses at Dillard's.
Less expensive option is Windsor. And Forever 21 or H&M for accessories.

How about 6pm? I've never ordered from them myself and I don't know their return policy, though.
