I ran into the mom of one of dd's friends today and found out their family of 3 was staying in town for Thanksgiving and no family was coming in. So I invited them over for dessert, but as I walked out to the car I realized that the mom and daughter are vegan and all 4 of my desserts have either eggs, milk or butter in them. They are bringing 2 desserts over but I'd like to be able to offer them something since I invited them! I'm off to google but thought I'd throw it out here as well. Thanks!

Have you ever heard of Chocolate Pudding that is vegan? DD used to make it when she was in high school. We all loved it, none of us were vegan. It is made with Silken Tofu. I don't have a recipe handy but I think you'll find several if you Google Chocolate Tofu Pudding.

I already made lemon bars and pumpkin and pecan pie and was going to make a chocolate mousse pie tomorrow but I can substitute the pudding. Thanks!!

The minimalist baker has lots of desserts that are vegan and gluten free. Just made her pumpkin pie today. (Dd is dairy, egg, gluten free, +).

Hasselback apples (use coconut oil instead of butter), baked apples stuffed with nuts & raisins or poached pears are vegan.
