Dd's party is this weekend and for a bunch of reasons it is in the morning - 10:30-12:15. The food time is 11-11:45.
Any good snack ideas for an earlier party? I usually have a party later in the day. So happy to get it over with earlier. I feel like we're usually sitting around waiting for it to start.
I thought: Fruit Veg Bagels and cream cheese /bagels and hummus Cinnamon buns Cupcakes
Snacks need to be meat free and I have 1 girl who has a dairy allergy. I'd love another food option. We allotted 45 min to eat!

Are these snacks to be geared toward children?
Pigs in a blanket with veggie hot dogs or sausages--seems like you need another salty/savory item to me

You didn't mention the age of your DD. Are adults going to be at the party, too?
I run a business where we host 6 or 7 birthdays every weekend. Our morning parties rarely involve any food other than cake. Folks just don't expect to be fed that early. I think your snacks sound great, almost like a meal. I don't think you need to add anything. Maybe you could have some dips for the veggies.
Depending on the age, I don't think kids will last 45 minutes for snacks, I'd give them 30 minutes, tops. Hope your DD has a fabulous day!

The kids are all 8. Not feeding adults. Chips sound good. Those who need less time to eat can run around the party room we booked at science world.

Honestly for that time of day, I would just skip the food and do cupcakes, ice cream (for the people who can have dairy) and juice boxes or bottled water to drink. I would only worry about providing food if the party was happening during a typical mealtime (7-9, 11-1, 4-6). The timeframe you're doing is a little late for breakfast and a little early for lunch, plus most kids are usually too excited to really eat anything anyway.

I think you need heavier food than just chips and cake, since your party runs right up against lunch time. Your bagels fill that role, so I think you are fine with what you have.
