If email spam wasn't bad enough, now there is calendar spam! If you have an iPhone and have started to receive spam in your calendar, here is a link that tells you how to get rid of it. I tried this and it works. It is not a permanent solution however. Don't "decline" the invite because it will just tell the spammers your account is active and you will get even more! Calendar SpamAnd I guess there is setting in iCloud that you can tell it to only put events on your calendar that come through email. I have to go look into this. You have to do it through your laptop from what I have read.

I was just coming here to post about this. I had an 'event' show up last night, then another one this morning. Did some searching last night and found the same solution in the Apple forums. Works like a charm. Now I need to check my iCal settings to see what I can do to prevent them getting through in the first place.

I got spammed too. Good thing it's set only for a couple of weeks instead of forever!

Well darn. I declined a "Louis Vuitton" invitation. Ugh
Anyone know of a good calendar app to replace the native app?

Thanks! I got an Uggs invite this morning. I didn't know where it came from.
