Which album do you prefer? My friend sold Creative Memories and I stocked up on their pages and albums back in the day. . I have 3 packages of the pages and two albums left. I think those will get me through 2012 pictures and a baby's first year album I am working on. I have used these pages and albums for my entire scrap booking career! I don't know what to move to. Any suggestions?

Another fan of WRMK. The three rings make it easy to find pages locally (& on sale) plus the albums are top quality. For odd sizes, 9x12 or my 6x8's I use SC. They're leftover from my subbing days when I could bundled up for free shipping. When I've used up the albums and pages I've horded, I'm not sure what size or company I'll try next.

I have a couple of Snap and OA 6x8 albums as well, and like them OK. I really like the 9x12, but when my last 3 albums are complete I'm not sure I'll continue that size. Will likely switch to something else, but not sure what. All my other albums (12x12 and 8.5x11) are WRMK and they are my favorite.

I hoarded CM albums when they were going out of business, so I'm all set for 12x12s. I picked up some WRMK 8x8s at Tuesday Morning a few years ago, and found that I liked pocket page scrapbooking, once I got used to it. So now, moving forward I have some 9x12 Simple Stories albums for random PL-type scrapbooking. The WRMK 12x12 are nice, but they seem so massive to me. I will still use the CM albums for older photos about family, travel, heritage stories.

Did you know CM is back?? I'm so happy about it, I searched all over for a replacement I was happy with and never did ( I do not like ring binder style at all, except for PL).
They are identical to what they used to be. I have gone to 2 CM crops and ordered from 3 different CM consultants in the past month! Seems like they have lots of customers are happy they are back around where I am. And their specialty albums and designs are even better than they used to be. I was mostly an album and page protector only customer, although I may need some of their patterned papers, too.

I mostly use WRMK albums for my 12x12's. They have held up pretty well, and I put a lot of pages in my albums! I have some American Crafts but I find they are not as sturdy.
For other sizes I have Studio Calico, October Afternoon, and simple stories.

Faux leather album girl here too. WRMK is very good. SNAP by Simple Stories is the best (but a limited - and slightly boring - colour palette and only two sizes - 12x12, 6x8) in my opinion. But my gosh, the mini 4x6 cardboard binder by Simple Stories was a major disappointment, crappy crappy crappy.
oaksong When did Simple Stories offer faux leather 9x12 albums?

Used to use CM A4 size back in the day, which were a perfect size. I still have a couple hanging around and am using them to snap some old travel photos.
I've used Simple Stories 6x8 and SC 6x8 handbooks but for most things have now switched to SC 9x12 albums, again because I love the size. 12x12 are just way to big to store.

ACOT has the 12x12 We R albums for 19.99. Free shipping at $99. I just can't swing anymore big purchases that are for me this weekend. Hope it helps someone else.

My friend who sold it back in the day doesn't anymore. At least that she has mentioned.

kellybelly77 I know they were officially gone for awhile so she would have to sign up again. If she had a good former customer base it may be worth it, based on what I had seen from the crops I went to.

No problem! I was just wondering if Simple Stories had secretly brought out a new format, the sneaky buggers. I have a three-ring 9x12 Studio Calico Handbook in aqua faux leather (before they went crazy with their ring system) and I like it quite a bit too!

WRMK Faux leather. I have a few DCWV (WRMK knockoffs) from when I first started because WRMK wasn't widely available at the time (and full price PLUS shipping was so NOT happening) but now I use WRMK exclusively.

For 12x 12, I use either WRMK or the deeper Pioneer 2 1/2" D ring ones: I tend to stuff a lot of pages into a seasonal album, and glue a lot of stuff to some of the pages. I like working with 3 ring albums because I can scrap what I want and then fit it in chronologically, and there is room for a divided page protector or two to add extra photos for some occasions.
My LSS lady orders me 4 of the Pioneer albums each year. They are faux leather in various colours. I tend to prefer seasonal colours: light green for Spring; dark green for Summer, orange or gold or brown for Fall, White or aqua for Winter, Red for Christmas. I have also used them for baby albums in light pink or light blue.
I too prefer CTMH page protectors: more room in each protector, and more sturdy material.
For smaller projects, I like the SS Sn@p albums and the BoBunny Miscellanious Me. The binders are sturdy and their rings tend to stand up to what I use them for. They both have albums, page protectors, & cute themed dividers & inserts to go with their 2 ring 6x8" binders. SS also has a 4x4 size.

If you have used CM all along I wouldn't see any reason to switch really. They are easily available.
I might go with close to My Heart if I wanted a good quality post bound.
But like many others, I use WRMK 3 ring 8.5x11

FYI to all. Scrapbooksteals.com has the We R Memory Keepers albums quite often. The Faux leather ones are $9.99. Shipping is reasonable. They aren't super fast in their shipping but to save that much on those albums, I don't mind waiting a few extra days.
The albums were just on sale a couple days ago, so might still be. They do sell out fast, but they usually list them quite often.
