If you have several Kindles, does a purchased app run on all devices? I bought 4 for my classroom, but I'm only keeping all of them if I can find good apps to use.
If you know if any educational sites that work with it then I'd love to hear about them. The few that I've tried do not work with it.
Thanks!

No one has an Amazon Fire? Can apps be shared?

Our house has 5 and yes when I order it appears on all the devices. I believe that is because they are all tied to the same account on Amazon. Once you download or purchase an app its on your account, so you can manage your devices thru there as well.
I am unsure of educational apps, have you searched the Amazon app store?

Thank you! That's exactly what I needed to know. Yes, I've been downloading them to try. I was going to return 3 Fires if I wasn't satisfied with the app selection. Free apps can be very limited. I found a great app for $20, but I wanted to be certain it could be shared before spending the money.
We have an ipad cart at school, but it's so heavy and difficult to move and we can't just check out 4-5. I'm hoping these will be great for the use I have planned for them.
Thanks!

Your welcome, keep in mind these are attached to your Amazon account so be sure kids are not able to access it. Not sure how you do that I think just making sure your logged out on each one or there might be a parent control. Maybe someone else knows the best way to do that.
