I joined a gym at the end of September. I've been faithfully going and logging my food & activity since the beginning of October.
I finally left the comfort of the treadmill and have been using the rowing machine and the machines for weight training. I log all that I do, but I've noticed the strength training I'm adding is not counting as any calories burned or coming up on my home feed like it does for some of my MFP friends.
Am I logging them wrong?
I enter what machine/muscle group (leg extension, outer thigh press, etc), number of reps, number of sets and weight. I searched the machine first, and was using what came up in the MFP listings.
I'm happy with how things are going, the scale is moving, and things are starting to get loose (and I know with activity & strength training the scale number may not go down but inches will be lost).
I try not to eat back the calories I've burned anyway, but was curious about how many are being burned on strength days vs cardio days.
Thanks!

Enter it through "cardio" as "strength training." It doesn't break it down like you have been doing, but you will get a calorie burn total.
