Oh my goodness - that is a funny story, especially that the bus driver heard the song. The dog sounds like "Mary had a little lamb" - he wanted to follow his kid to school

Too funny and what a coincidence! Years ago when both of my girls rode the bus, my Lhasa Also would whine and cry when they left. One morning they were both running late and flew out the door and he went right out after them. He got on the bus and went all the way to the back. One of the kids had to pick him up and bring him to me because he was not getting off on his own accord, lol. That fog was a mess and I miss him every day 😊

My baby girl Auburn has started to sniff my crotch EVERY time I come home. I have no idea why she has started this little act, but she gets me from the front directly on my whoha and as soon as I shoooe her away, she goes behind me and sticks that pointy nose right up my crack! It's becoming an annoying habit of hers, but became embarrassing when I came home one afternoon with visitors. She went straight for my crotch as usual and then realized there was company and went straight for the woman's crotch. At least I now know it's not just my crotch, she's done it with the last 3 female visitors. I have no idea why she has started this. She's never around other female dogs, only our male dachshund and she was recently fixed a few months ago (but this sniffing started before then). She doesn't do it to any of the 4 males that live in the house or any male visitors.
My spoiled rotten little dachshund Jack has to always sleep under the covers and likes to get in the bend of my back. The other day, I went to get up and he was stuck inside my shirt. Really stuck! I had to call my DH in the bedroom to get him out. It was a wide necked t-shirt and his head was stuck out right behind my head. If I moved, it'd start to choke me. Thankfully Jack didn't think it was anything to be alarmed about and stayed mostly still until DH could get him out. Note to self: do not sleep in anymore wide necked shirts.
Here's my girl Auburn and rotten little Jack:

My DH leaves for work at 4 am. I get up at 6:00. This stinker waits for him to leave the house and then climbs into bed with me every morning. She knows DH would never allow her in our bed. But usually I'm in such a deep sleep that I usually done even realize until I wake up.
