Last night it was a Banh Mi with pickled ginger and ginger beer, this morning Triple Ginger Thins cookies and later I'm looking forward to finishing the Bahn Mi.
What flavor are you obsessed with right now?

I went out for Chinese food last night with friends and we ordered cashew chicken...the ginger bite was awesome! I go on kicks when I'm craving garlicky foods.

Cinnamon is my choice of spice right now. I went to Penzey's spices in Buffalo this past week and stocked up on spices, especially the different cinnamon. Currently there are some cinnamon rolls that are rising. My home smells so good.

I do love ginger, especially when my stomach is upset.
I make a ginger syrup by boiling grated ginger in a sugar syrup. I use it to flavor my sofa stream water and kombucha and to ice up my hot chocalte. I bet it would make a good addition to hot tea, too.

We're loving the crystallized ginger from Costco. I also like these ginger snap lemon sandwiches but last time I saw them I couldn't get them because dh was there and he always protests sweets.

Oooh I love ginger too!! One of the girls at work discovered these biscuits (cookies) at the supermarket near work. They are called Orange Thins but we can only taste ginger, not orange.
I have a fabulous recipe for cookies using crystallized ginger chunks. They are divine. I used to make them for my Nanna when she was still alive because she loved ginger. I don't make them very often because nobody else really likes ginger as much as I do.
I also use fresh ginger a lot in savory dishes.

King Arthur's Flour gingerbread recipe is the best. It has grated fresh ginger, powdered ginger, and crystallized ginger. I also used a few grinds of fresh pepper.

I didn't like ginger until a couple of years ago and now I love it. I love drinking Fentiman's Ginger Beer. It's the best.
I love ginger molasses cookies and gingerbread and put ginger into my stir fry and pho. Yeah, I have a problem.

Funnily enough, the drink by my side right now is fiery ginger beer. We sell ginger beer bon bons in the shop. They are sooooo good but I think I'm the only one to eat them. That's fine by me, they are perfect for when I crave something with a quick kick. DS2 loves ginger too but thinks the bon bons are too mild for him.
Gingercake spread with butter, ginger nut biscuits yum.

They're a lot like the Moravian cookies available here, made in North Carolina. I've started a restricted diet and each day brings a Winter or holiday treat I have to avoid. I need to find an alternative for these!

Costco has crystallized ginger?! I must have some. Getting crystallized ginger in California has been hard for the past few years. There was some kind of lawsuit with Trader Joes.
I love ginger, so much that one of my experiments is growing it.

LA Weekly storyAussieMeg, those look like the cookies I've been eating. I used them to make a gingersnap crust for a pumpkin cheesecake and overestimated how many boxes I needed.

Oh I love ginger too! I drink tons of the ginger beer--spicier the better! have you tried Q Ginger Beer? It is amazing SPICY!!!!! and oh so goooooood!
Unlike other ginger beers, Q Ginger Beer is made with: •Loads of real ginger •A little organic agave, not loads of high fructose corn syrup or sugar •A touch of coriander, cardamom, and lime •Extra carbonation
So Q Ginger Beer is very spicy but not overly sweet. Exactly how you want it.

I love ginger, so much that one of my experiments is growing it. It may technically not be crystallized, it's like the dried mango but it's made of ginger so it's got sugar in it but not crunchy coated like the kind I've found at health food stores. I actually like this kind much better.

If anyone lives near Pittsburgh pa there's an amazing super spicy ginger beer called Jamaica's finest ginger beer and is labeled hot hot hot. I tried done when I went to Galco's soda pop stop in la years ago and have been trying to find a soda as spicy gingery ever since but nothing is as hot.

My grandmother makes dark chocolate covered ginger chips that are delicious. My in-laws put chunks of ginger on their pizza. It's gross. I asked once how that started and they told me that ginger is good for you, and they are almost used to the taste. LOL. Why would you ruin pizza with ginger when you don't even like it? Sure, ginger is good for you but there are SO MANY OTHER WAYS to eat ginger. Pizza is not the only vehicle for ginger consumption. They are so weird
