Let me know what you think! It's one that you will discuss afterwards for sure! Sis in law and I went last weekend at the one theater in town that was showing it on limited release. A couple of things (no spoilers)... ...I had no idea that the director Tom Ford was the same Tom Ford designer! ...Very curious what you thought about the opening scene and how it related to the movie IMDB Link

I went and saw it Friday night. Definitely a movie that you talk about after it's over.
That opening scene...well, I don't really know what to think. I asked the people I went with your question and none of us could come up with how it related to the movie, other than it was a form of "art?"
In all honesty, I'm not a huge fan of movies that don't wrap everything up with a neat bow, kwim?

Ok I saw this movie today. I'm not sure what to think. Regarding the opening scenes...There was a scene that showed Susan sitting at a desk, I believe, and there was a painting on the wall behind her of a naked woman with a huge bum that took up most of the canvas. The two may be related, like the women in the opening scene served as the artist's inspiration??? I dunno, I'm reaching. This is a movie I need to watch more than once, for sure. I'm a bit confused about timelines in this movie. Visually, I thought it was stunning.

I think I agree that the picture hanging on the wall at the end was somehow related to the opening scene.

How scary is this movie? I thought I wanted to see it but when I watched the trailer (the one on Fandango), it looked really scary-intense.

I would definitely call it intense in places. But not edge-of-your-seat unbearably scary. I think it's definitely worth two hours of your time!
