I just ordered WRMK 8.5x11 3 ring albums from Walmart . com with a couple gift cards that I got from surveys. Is the lilac album some special unicorn or something? I bought the red albums, for what it's worth.

Try shopping for the same album in Aqua! Check out Amazon or Ebay - it goes for as much as $70! Same thing for some other colors. Some I get for as little as $12 and some are 5 times that! I will bet that Walmart would not have it in stock if you ordered it.
Someone needs to get these WRMK albums in some form back on the market!

ACOT has the 12x12 for 19.99, except grape, which is 28.95. That is weird!

It's so ridiculous that one of the most popular staples of our craft isn't provided by any of the manufacturers. WRMK is still in business. What the heck, people?! Surely it would be more useful than the ability to staple in the middle of our page or punch out gigantic letters.

I noticed that scrapbook.com is not selling the WRMK page protectors, they are selling the Umbrella universal page protectors for the WRMK albums. Is there a shortage of the WRMK page protectors too?

I think I missed something. WRMK isn't making albums anymore?

Is there a shortage of the WRMK page protectors too? WRMK is discontinuing certain page protectors (like the 6x12 with the row of two 3x4 in the middle). I wonder if Becky Higgins has got the market cornered for most of the page protector styles out there... It's not looking good (and it's worrying quality-wise). Not sure where WRMK is headed in the future.

I am using the WRMK designer albums (I like the fancy touches on the designer ones) with CTMH page protectors. Best of both worlds for me.
As popular as the WRMK albums are they would be crazy to stop making them, but since American Crafts also owns the Becky Higgins albums (which are not as well made) I wonder if they want to condense down to one 3 ring album line? I hope not, just musing.

I think I missed something. WRMK isn't making albums anymore? If they are, they never seem to be widely available. They stopped production when AC bought them, and it is unclear what was resumed. No 8x8, for sure, 12x12 and 8-1/2 x 11 show up randomly here and there. It's just plain weird.

Fwiw i bought a few WRMK albums during black friday and they have AC branding on them. I hope that means AC has figured out what they are doing and they will become easier to come by.

Oh wow, had no idea they were not making them anymore since I haven't needed any in a bit. I did pick up a bunch of page protectors at Tuesday Morning. Now I wonder if I should search out albums while a few are still around.

Now I wonder if I should search out albums while a few are still around. They are still being made. WRMK was bought out by AC. AC is still making WRMK albums. I do believe there was a lull during the transition. I bought albums from two different sites on BF. One set is branded WRMK/AC and one is just WRMK. Hopefully now that AC has started production again they will be easier to come by. IMO the big question is if the colors will be the same.

And that is why I do not have specific colors for any album. I didn't think scrapbooking would stay mainstream forever back in the day when there was so much to choose from! I usually pick the cheapest price for WRMK albums. Thanks for the link! I want to buy vanilla albums now.

...WRMK is still in business... Unfortunately, it appears American Crafts' modus operandi is to eliminate its acquired brands' unique quality (you know, the trait that made each of them popular & desirable to sweep under the umbrella). None of the independent brands continue to grow under AC, rather they become indistinguishable & eventually disappear (at least from conversation). In addition to readily accessible & quality WRMK albums, I miss my beloved Bazzill terribly. (As an aside: I was told by a LSS clerk while traveling out of state that My Colors Cardstock by My Mind's Eye is from the original owners of Bazzill. I noticed different textures & weights on its website & plan to buy a couple sheets to test.)
