......that so many of the challenge sites and other scrapbook bloggers have "closed up shop" (so to speak).
I am making my 2017 scrapbooking plans (2016 was not a good year), and went looking around to get my daily visits lined out and so many of them are gone, or have not had any activity in quite some time.
If any of you are actively blogging, or know of some awesome scrapbooking/cards/paper craft/challenge sites please post the links so I can set them up to visit everyday!

I think blogs are dying, at least in the craft arena. I know my blog visits are pretty nonexistent now. I get most of my inspiration from You Tube and Instagram. I don't use pinterest, i don't like how it's set up and only look there if i can't find what i want elsewhere.

Not sure what your preferences are, maribeth, but here are a couple of places I go for inspiration: The folks at CSI post a challenge every 10 days or so, with an additional challenge each month. I really love their DT samples and their gallery as well. The Card Concept just wrapped up their last challenge of 2016. They plan to start again in January. I check out the blogs of my favourite manufacturers (Kaisercraft, BoBunny, Simple Stories, Taylored Expressions) for daily inspiration, and then Pin those ideas I think I might use.

Thanks grammadee I checked those two out - I will try them in the New Year. I am looking for participation more than inspiration. I find that if I am participating in something it is easier for me to stay on task. Like if there was a CalvinBall every month I would be in Hog Heaven!

You can participate by posting in both the links I gave you. CSI also has a message board, I think. I haven't checked out A Cherry On Top lately, but they seem to have a lively community with monthly challenges. SCT365 is a year long on line class I signed up for. There's a fee though. And justjac has been having fun over at Scrap Happy. There is a membership fee, and I think a lot of the activity is over on Facebook, but she could tell you more.

It seems like most of the challenge group type stuff has moved to facebook.

A Cherry On Top has lots of monthly challenges hosted by members of that community. There's also a sketch challenge every 2 weeks or so which is hosted by the store. Sk Sketches in Thyme has bi-monthly challenges..check the rules tab for more info.

Hi Maribeth! Paper Issues has lots of challenges every month for a chance to win gift certificates to the store. The design team puts out challenges and samples and then you play along with whatever strikes your fancy. There are lot of challenges and a super friendly group. Here's the link to the Facebook community where we hang out: www.paperissues.com/Hope to see you there! Melissa

Debbi was having difficulty with the hosting site and had to change to Blogger. There no longer is a gallery. In order to participate you have to have a blog, or post your layout to the CSI Facebook page. The challenges are posted the 1st and the 15th of the month.
