After calling the number on the back of the card, I was able to get through to an actual person by saying "representative" when the computer voice was ready to hear which option I wanted to choose.

And in some menus pressing 0 when you are instructed to press a number key often gives you a human service rep even if 0 is not a selection at that time. Doesn't work 100% of the time but a pretty often. Annette

Try not doing or saying anything. Sometimes that will prompt the computer to say "I'm sorry I didn't understand you, please hold for a representative."
Good luck!

Wouldn't you want to talk to someone at the bank who issued your MC not MC itself?

Yes. I have called all of the numbers; there does not seem to be an option for human. Just wondering if anyone had any tricks. The customer service is the worst!

Here's the cheat sheet on what to do at various companies to get a human - look up the issuing bank name for instructions. www.dialahuman.com/

It's seems strange to be trying to reach Mastercard directly rather than the company/bank you have the card with.

It's seems strange to be trying to reach Mastercard directly rather than the company/bank you have the card with. I did try to reach my bank. Apparently everyone took the day off. All I got were voicemails.
